Hyundai Gallery is located in the heart of Daejeon. The City Hall, Court of Law, and Police Station etc. are some of the important establishments concentrated in the area. The Exhibit Hall on the B1 floor of Hyundai Gallery is 70 Pyeong (1 pyeong = 3.3 square meters), and is the preferred locale for talented artists exhibiting their work. Private invitation exhibitions are usually held. The exhibited works are ones that reflect modern art trends, and show the art world of progressive artists. The lighting is very impressive, and highlights the exhibited items beautifully. The simplicity of its design allows you to focus on and enjoy the artwork even more. There is a historic art gallery near the Hyundai Gallery, and the third largest lake in Korea called Daecheongho Lake. Dream Forest Art Center, located in Gangbuk, Seoul, is operated by the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Composed of two performance venues (Performance Hall and Concert Hall), alongside with Sang Sang Tok Tok Art Gallery and Dream Gallery, there are also a Chinese restaurant, cafe and an observatory deck available for all visitors to enjoy.  

Established in November 1967, the dam at Uiamho Lake is located at the point where the Bukhangang and Soyanggang rivers meet. It was created to balance the flow of water to the Hangang River from Soyangho (the nation’s largest artificial lake) and Paroho Lake. Uiamho Lake is a great fishing area since the water level in the lake fluctuates depending on the amount of water discharged from Soyangho and Paroho lakes. Unlike other dam-created lakes, it has a flat bottom with plenty of water grass growing in and around the water, making it the perfect place for carp fishing. Carp is the main catch from the early spring to the late fall and in winter, the lake is a great spot for ice fishing (mainly minnow and smelt). The two large islands of Bungeoseom and Jungdo are located in middle of the lake. Not only a good fishing spot, the lake offers beautiful natural scenery and is easily accessible from Chuncheon City via public transportation.

Gwangmyeong Station is a KTX train station in Iljik-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do. It was originally built solely as a departure and arrival station for KTX but now additionally serves as a departure and arrival station for the KTX Gyeongbu Line. Gwangmyeong Station is some distance from the center of the city but the number of visitors using the station is steadily increasing as the station began to serve as a stop for trains bound to Pohang Station and trains on the Honam Express Line.

Yangnim History & Culture Village is located in the area where Western items and ideas first entered Gwangju over 100 years ago. As such, the neighborhood has a unique collection of Western architecture mixed with traditional hanok houses. There are also many houses of Christian missionaries, who facilitated the advancement of medicine and education in Gwangju. Some areas such as Penguin Village have been decorated with murals and outdoor exhibitions to promote art and tourism, helping the elderly locals to make a living.

Jeju World Natural Heritage Center was established to promote the value of UNESCO World Natural Heritage. It is comprised of various facilities including a 4D video room, lava tunnel experience, origins of Jeju-do, and many other activities that visitors can learn and experience first-hand. Jeju World Natural Heritage Center is located in the Geomunoreum Lava Tube System, which was designated as UNESCO World Heritage in 2007, one of 20 ecological tourism spots by Ministry of Environment of Korea in 2009, as well as a Korean-style ecological tourism model.

The Heojun Museum first opened on March 23, 2005 in honor of academic accomplishments and charitable deeds of the renowned medical scientist, Heojun of the middle century Joseon Dynasty.The museum is composed of the Heojun Memorial Hall, a Herb and Medicine Room, a Medical Supply Room, an Experience Hall, and two floors of a Naeuiwon (government-run medicinal office during the Joseon Dynasty) and an oriental medicine clinic. In addition, there is Heojun Park and Heogabawi Rock, which are situated beside the museum. Apart from things related to Heojun, various exhibits, especially high-tech displays such as models, media and touch-screens are also available and on display.At the Experience Hall, you will come closer to understanding oriental medicine by getting a first-hand experience of what it is like to be an Oriental doctor. Furthermore, the reappearance of Joseon Dynasty’s Naeuiwon and oriental medicine clinic are exquisitely shown. There is also the resting area on the roof which is connected to the herbal medicine park, and offers a wonderful view to experience this vivid scene.

Anmok Beach spans over 150 km in length and covers an area of 20,000㎡. The beach is often packed with families on a vacation. Right in front of the beach is Anmok Port, where around 23 fishing boats can be moored to unload their catch of seaweed in the spring; flatfish, squid, octopus in the summer; and sailfin sandfish, and pollack in the fall and winter. The place has also gotten more popular because of the coffee geori (coffee street) that sells coffee at reasonable prices.
