The Korean Manhwa Museum is the first cartoon museum that preserves and exhibits various rare cartoon materials and historically valuable materials, including the original copy of cartoons drawn by well-known cartoonists, which Bucheon Manhwa Information Center (currently Korea Manhwa Contents Agency) has collected and preserved. Located in the Bucheon Visual Culture Complex, the museum exhibits a wide range of cartoons from those of the 1990s to the latest works of cartoonists who are popular among kids.

Ulsanbawi is composed of six granite peaks, each bearing a x_width of 4km. You can see the spectacular scenery of Seorak Mountain, the East Sea, Dalma Peak, and Haksapyeong Reservoir from the top. There are three varying theories as to what the name Ulsanbawi implies: that it looks like a fence, that its name was copied from Ulsan of Gyeongsangnam-do, and that the Korean term of “crying mountain” was translated into Chinese characters. Because of the way the whole mountain reverberates the sound of thunder in rain, it is also referred to as Cheonhusan.The arduous 4km hike up that takes roughly two hours to reach the peak is worth it. Views from the top are simply breathtaking.

Kim Soon Ja is the first Kimchi Master in Korea who has devoted 30 years of her life to developing and promoting Kimchi, Korea’s most famous delicacy. Kim Soon Ja, Kimchi Master’s Kimchi Theme Park share the time-honored secrets about this essential and quintessential Korean food and offers an opportunity to learn about the history, origin and the excellence of Kimchi. The hands-on program is open to both locals and foreigners alike and after the program, a simple meal that includes rice balls, makgeolli (rice wine) and of course, the master’s Kimchi will be served. Located at the Hanok Village in Bucheon Gongbang-geori (arts craft streets), the theme park also offers an opportunity to enjoy the genuine beauty of Korea through a variety of activities such as exploring the Hanok (a traditional Korean house), wearing the Hanbok (Korean traditional costume), meeting an archery master and a metal craft master. The beautiful nature surrounding the Hanok village offers a great backdrop for those travel photos as well.

E-World (formerly Wooband Tower Land) is a theme park built around Woobang Tower (Oct. 1987). The area around the tower was remodeled as a European-style park and opened to the public in March 1995. It features a waterfall, fountains, lighting displays, and flowers, as well as rides, exhibition and performance halls, and restaurants. E-World has several plazas characterized by different themes; major plazas include Entry Plaza (at the park entrance), Central Plaza, Children’s Plaza (playground), and Young Town Plaza.

Suwon Hwaseong Museum presents the history and culture of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, an important Korean cultural assert and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Visitors to the museum will be able to see a systematic information outlined about Joseon Dynasty. Due to the main theme featuring Suwon's Hwaseong that is not only a valuable architectural asset in Korea's history, the museum occupies the size of a small village, housing an extensive items and exhibitions on display. Therefore, effective learning and exploring of Korea's impressive historical heritages is possible by simply being on-site as the venue represents all about Korea back in the 18th century. It includes an entire process of construction and people involved in the project. as well as, captures of scenes from the day 1 of its establishment.    

Spa Valley first opened in 2003 and the citizens of Daegu City have been enjoying its hot springs and sauna facilities ever since.The 1st floor of Spa Valley holds a health club, souvenir shop, and various stores, while the 2nd floor has a variety of hot spring pools and a jjimjilbang. The outdoor water park offers a wave pool, youth pool, waterslide, a water polo pool, diving pool, and more.

The tour program at Everland Environmental Academy is aimed at raising environmental awareness through firsthand experience of the waste water processing and purifying facilities at Everland. These facilities process an average of over 7,000 tons of waste water every day that come from the theme park and the neighboring Caribbean Bay. It takes 24 hours for the collected waste water to become clean again through microbial breakdown and filtering process. The purified water, which is reused for watering the flower garden at the theme park and also partly released into the river, is clean enough for carp to live in.Linked to the elementary school curriculum, the tour program is offered in basic and advanced courses, both of which are designed to experience the entire water purification process with the aim of learning the causes of water pollution and the importance of clean water.

Gwangju World Cup Stadium is a major symbol of Gwangju. Designed to reflect the notion of ‘spreading far and wide’ the exterior is shaped like spokes of a wheel. When lit up, the stadium looks like a glowing dome. The ceiling and large ‘Y’-shaped pillars resemble a ‘Go,’ an instrument used in a traditional game from Gwangju, Gossaumnori. It is with design touches such as these that architects of the stadium have sought to capture and reflect traditional aspects of the Gwangju area.

Located within the clear air and fresh canyon waters of Gangwon-do, Phoenix Park’s Blue Canyon is a water theme park reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea with various themed rest areas and fun water rides. KOTREX (KOTRA Exhibition Center, Daejeon) was first opened on May 19, 1995. Equipped with ultra high-speed optical network facilities for IT-related gatherings, the center is an ideal spot for a variety of events. Since it opened, KOTREX has hosted exhibitions and business meetings for the Daejeon Municipal Government, the Daejeon Government Buildings Management Services, and the Daedeok Research Complex, and has hosted numerous seminars and concerts.
