Cheongpodae Beach is located in the coastal zone of Taean Coast National Park. It's gently curved shoreline, unique rock formations, pine trees, and migratory birds all combine to make one spectacular scenery. The sand is white, the waves are not too high, and the water temperature is just right — all these are reasons to make this the next family vacation destination.  Nearby beaches include Yeonpo Beach, Mongsanpo Beach, Baeksajang Beach, Sambong Beach and Bangpo Beach.

After the Korean government declared Jeju Island an "island of world peace," it has since been trying to maintain its peaceful image, and has had an International Peace Center built. Founded during the reign of King Mu of the Baekje Dynasty (632), Baekyangsa Temple is located within Naejangsan National Park. The combination of the mountain and valleys on both sides creates beautiful scenery. Nature reveals its beauty throughout all seasons here especially the red maple leaves during the fall. Daeungjeon, Geukrakbojeon and Sacheonwangmun have been designated as cultural assets. Pass the wood path of lined-up white oaks and maple trees, through the entrance of Baekyangsa Temple, and you will first spot Ssanggyeru. You will appreciate the breathtaking view of Ssangyeru shimmering in the pond.

Huhuam Temple can be found next to National Highway No. 7 in Gwangjin-ri, Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do after Namae Harbor. The temple building was built only 10 years ago and behind the temple, there is a wide flat rock resembling a turtle peeking out of the ocean. In addition, there is a rock which is naturally shaped similar to Buddha. The location makes it seem as if the turtle-shaped rock is bowing down to Buddha. Also, on top of the cliff on the upper right side of this Buddha statue there are two big rocks, called “Jungbawi.” These rocks are shaped like monks carrying a moktak (wooden percussion instrument used for chanting by Buddhist clergy) and bowing to the statue, adding an even more amazing atmosphere to the temple area.

Located in Joan-myeon, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, KOFIC Namyangju Studios is a film-making studio complex built on a 1,323,113㎡ site with an outdoor filming studio, 6 indoor studios of different sizes, a recording studio, and various film-making equipment. More specifically, the complex has large-scale outdoor sets that were made to shoot Korean movies J.S.A. and Chihwaseon (Painted Fire). Additional attractions of the park include a miniature exhibition hall that shows props used in the 3D animation movie Wonderful Days and its film making process, the Film Culture Museum where visitors can learn about the birth and technological development of films as well as the film making process, the video experience hall where visitors can have hands-on experience in the world of visuals and audio, the video principle experience hall where one can experience and learn the basic principles of films, a wardrobe department, a prop room, and the Cine Theater that screens a Korean film every month for free.

The Cheongnamdae (청남대) is a presidential vacation villa located near Daecheong Dam (대청댐) in Cheongwon-gu, Chungcheongbuk-do. The former president Chun Doo-hwan was greatly impressed by the scenic surroundings while attending the ceremony for the completion of Daecheong Dam in 1980. The construction of Cheongnamdae started in June, 1983 and was completed in six months (December). Cheongnamdae, built on a 560,000 pyeong-wide area, means ‘Cheongwadae in a warm southern land’ in Korean. South Korean presidents would stay in this remote vacation villa 4-5 times (or sometimes 7-8 times) a year during summer vacation or national holidays. In total, Korean presidents have stayed here nearly 400 days over 88 visits in two decades.There were four presidential villas including the one in Gimhae in the past. During Kim Young-sam’s administration, however, all but Cheongnamdae were closed. Cheongnamdae, which had been closed to the public for twenty years, was finally opened to the public on April 18, 2003 by former president Roh Moo-hyun. Visitors can view a music fountain inside the ecological wetland garden (990㎡), hike a 3.3km mountain trail and visit the Hoban Promenade (8km), or simply take a pleasant walk along a beautiful trail, and enjoy the scenic landscape of Daecheongho Lake.* Geographical Location Cheongnamdae is located in Munui-myeon, Cheongwon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. Suwon Station first started out as a non-express train station on January 1, 1905. Subsequently on December 31, 1975, a subway station was added. The station is on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Gyeongbu Railroad, on which Samaeul Train and Mugunghwa Train operate. On January 1, 1996, they closed down Suin Line and the Narrow Gauge Train Station was no longer in operation. In February 2003, a privately-funded station was established. A KTX train operating on Gyeongbu Line from Seoul to Daejeon began to include Suwon Station as a stop on November 1, 2010.

Taekwondowon located in Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, serves as a Mecca for the 70 million taekwondo practitioners in 186 countries worldwide. Covering an area of 2.31 million square meters, the park includes training grounds, hands-on program facilities, accommodations, and more.The Taekwondowon Observatory (522 square meters) is a three-story building located on a hill near the Taekwondo Strong Kick Statue. Go to the top of the observatory for a dramatic bird’s-eye-view of the crystal clear Muju area.

Sinbulsan County Park is located in parts of the Sangbuk and Samnam districts of Ulju (County). The massive area encompasses 11.66 square km and is home to one of the most impressive peaks in the Yeongnam mountain range found in the southeast of Korea. The park’s hiking trails interconnect with those of neighboring Gangwolsan and Yeongchwisan Mountains and attract a large number of hikers year-round. Near the peak of Silbulsan Mountain sits a fortress with breathtaking views of silver grass. Water starts high above the clouds at Danjobong Peak and trickles down through streams and waterfalls to join the deep mountain valleys. One of the better known attractions in Silbulsan Mountain is Hongryu Falls which offers impressive views from its gentle cliffs. Also nearby the mountain are Deungeok Hot Springs and a number of restaurants for hikers to visit and enjoy after a full day on the mountain.
