The Gangnam Canoe Club has a variety of services and equipment that enables visitors to experience the joys of kayaking worry-free. Located in the farthest upstream of Jangheung Dam, Beetle Valley preserves the clean natural environment from the past. The village has a large population of beetles and other insects like Asian longhorn beetles as there are many farming houses growing Shiitake mushroom using eco-friendly farming methods. The village has shiitake mushroom center, eco experience center, and beetles farming field where children and teenage students may visit and learn about /familiarized with the nature and its eco system. The village is also open to the general public for hands-on experience of the nature and quality rest. In the stream flowing in front of the village, you may even catch crawfish and marsh snail which inhabit only in the cleanest water (first-rating water). You may buy and take home the beetles raised and farmed in this village.

Yeonggyeongmyo grave is grave of the mother of King Mokjo and the 5th great-grandmother of King Taejo of the Joseon Dynasty. During the 3rd year of King Gojong’s reign (1899), the grave as well as memorial monuments were built together with Jungyeongmyo, a grave for the 5th great-grandfather of King Taejo. Surrounded by a rich forest, it has a beautiful view. Every April 20th, an ancestral ritual is held by the Lee family (from Jeonju). Jungyeongmyo grave is located in Hwalgi-ri.

Nabawi Catholic Church is located in Hwasan-ri, Mangseong-myeon in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do Province and is known as the oldest surviving catholic church in the Jeolla-do region. The church was built in 1906 to commemorate the return of priest Kim Dae-geon in 1845 (Joseon Dynasty) after he was ordained in Shanghai, China. Inside the church stand two monuments: one built in 1954 to honor Joseph Vermorel (French missionary, 1860-1937) and one built in 1955 to honor priest and martyr Kim Dae-geon. Considered the most significant catholic relic of the Jeolla-do region, the church is sought out by large numbers of Catholic visitors each year.

Uijeongbu Station on the Gyeongwon Line is located between Ganeung Station and Hoeryong Station. It used to be the last station of the suburb train but it became an ordinary subway station after a metropolitan subway started operating to Soyosan Station.

GS Caltex Yeosu Complex allows visitors an opportunity to learn about how to refine petrolem and how to make a final product of it at the production site. Visitors can explore the real manufacturing facility while visiting the GS Caltex Yeosu Plant which is a world class crude oil refining facility.

Situated on Sabulsan Mountain, the temple is a beautiful building, rich in history. The name of the mountain on which the temple was built was originally called Gongdeoksan, but was later known as Sabulsan. The name, Sabulsan, (meaning “Four Buddhas”) comes from the legend of the Silla Period in which a large stone shrouded with red silk and etched with four faces of Buddha mysteriously descended upon the mountain. Upon hearing the news of this miraculous event, the king at the time (King Jinpyeong) immediately visited the spot and had the temple built next to the sacred stone. The temple was partially destroyed by fire in the summer of 1922, but was restored in 1927 thanks to the efforts of Monks Uiun, Chwiwol, and Deoksan. In January 1958, the temple once again suffered fire damage, leaving only a few buildings (Geukrakjeon, Myeongbujeon, and Sansingak) untouched. Monks Daehyu, Seolwol, and Jeongam helped to restore the temple and the temple has remained well-preserved ever since.

Located in Yeoryang-ri, Buk-myeon, Jeongseon-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, Jeongseon Arirang Training Hall was established to preserve and promote the Jeongseon Arirang (Gangwon-do’s Intangible Culture Asset No. 1). The first floor of the Training Center Hall holds Jeongseon Arirang Material Room and a training center of Chang, Korea's traditional narrative singing method. On the second floor, Jeongseon Arirang Performance Hall, Training Hall, and video facilities are available. Also, Living Hall Building has a restaurant that can accommodate up to 50 people on the first floor and 5 guest rooms as accommodation facilities that can accommodate up to 6-7 people each on the second floor.

Muan Tidal Wetland Research in Muan, Jeollanam-do was established in an effort to raise awareness of the ecology and importance of natural wetlands. It is the nation’s largest educational center for natural ecology. The center consists of a three-story indoor exhibition hall as well as a wetland ecology park spanning 48,100㎡. Inside the exhibition hall is a multi-purpose theater that plays 3D educational videos. A tour of diverse facilities including the wetland eco-center and the tidal wetland exploration center is also available inside the hall. Outside the exhibition hall is a wetland ecology park and experience zone, where visitors may observe various ocean creatures and salt water plants.
