Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Namiseom Island was formed as a result of the construction of the Cheongpyeong Dam. It is a half moon shaped (462,809㎡) isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sejo (reign 1455 ~ 1468).Namiseom Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. The island is 30 minutes away from Chuncheon and an hour away from suburbs of Seoul. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit.A special feature of Namiseom Island is that there are no telephone poles. This is because all electric wires were built underground to keep the natural feeling of the landscape. The complex is 553,560 square yards with chestnut trees and poplar trees around the isle.In the middle of the isle, there is a grass field about 316,320 square yards. It is composed of education and training facilities, camping sites, swimming pools and water-sports facilities for motorboats and water skiing. There is also a theme park with merry-go-rounds, a shooting range, roller skating rink, and there are lodging facilities such as resort villas and bungalows.


Busan(Dong-gu)

This is the fastest way to go downhill from Sanbok road to Busan port. The stairs is known to be as tall as a 6-storey building, and there used to be 3 wells located at the bottom of the stairs. The flight of stairs has exactly 168 steps. Currently, there is only 1 well with drinking water, and on days when there is insufficient water, you may see locals waiting in line to draw water.

Founded in 1986, Samgwangsa Temple is the second Cheontae (천태종), located in Choeup-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan. The temple nestled in the hillside of the Baekyang mountain so all Busan area is viewed at one glance with the bright morning sunshine. It opens 24 hours for praying and continues its practice Buddhism religiously everyday.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

Jinhae NFRDI Environment Eco-Park (Inland Water Eco Park) is part of the land of the Nambu Inland Water Research Center and lies on an area measuring 83,897 square meters. This environmentally-friendly park boasts a splendid natural landscape with over 65 different species of trees (sheepberry, willow, boxwood, cherry blossom trees, etc.) and an abundance of flowers (golden reed, hosta, water canna, irises, etc.). The park is open to the public and is a favorite retreat for residents of the area.


Busan(Dong-gu)

Located near Busan Station, Choryang Ibagu-gil street was formed at the top of a hill after people started building houses back in the poor period. While ascending a steep and curved road, observatory, Ibagu Archive Center, Yu Chi-hwn Post box, and places perfect for a photo zone can be seen along the road. When approaching the hill, one can see the large road, also known as the Sanbok Road. It is located in the middle of mountain and features a view embracing the downtown of Busan within a sight. The night scene is especially beautiful here, as the lights from every house twinkle and gleam as the surrounding area gets darker.


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

The Bay 101 is located in a culture and art complex in Haeundae area, attracting many visitors to the area thanks to the beautiful nightscape that it offers.  


Busan(Gijang-gun)

The Maritime and Fisheries Science Museum, Korea's first science institute of its kind, was established in 1997 in order to promote maritime science and technology to the Korean public. The museum was opened after six years of effort by the National Fisheries Science Institute in preparing research and materials regarding marine resources, the fishing industry, fishery and fish farm technology and equipment, taxidermied fish specimens, sea life species, and others. There are a total of 15 separate areas, and even an actual right whale skeleton on display, as well as a room where visitors can learn how to operate a marine vessel.


Busan(Geumjeong-gu)

Hongbeopsa Temple is located in Geumjeong dugu-dong, Busan, known for its largest bronze Amida Buddha Statue (21m). Surrounded by Mt. Cheolmasan and Mt. Geumjeongsan, a beatiful scenery is revealed and it stretches to Suyonggang river, making one feel as if you were in Yeonhwajang, the ideal world, filled with lotus flowers in Buddhism. Zen and meditation classes are also provided and the meditation room is where you can find your own quiet time in the temples. The temple also exhibits a bust of Gandhi, donated by the Government of India to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and India. The temple has a wealth of attractions luring increasing number of tourists every year. It also has a huge buddha's statue that you can not see another temples in Korea, India Cultural Center, Jeokmyeolbogung Palace and a beautiful ecological garden, the best place to see the natural environment.  


Busan(Jung-gu)

Busan Port Passenger Terminal provide a resting and waterfront area for passengers connecting Busan and Jeju island. Circular buses are on operation from Busan Station to Busan Port Passenger Terminal. The terminal is convenient for transportationis, being close to Jungang and Nampo Station of Busan Subway.
