Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

Gyeonghwa Station is a small railway station in Gyeonghwa-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. The station is neighbored by Seongjusa Station to the north and Jinhae Station to the south. Railway services in and out of Gyeonghwa Station have been discontinued as of February 2015. The train used to stop at the station during the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, but now it only makes stops at Masan, Changwon and Jinhae stations.In April, rows of cherry trees bloom along the 800 meter-long railway extending from the station all the way to Sehwa Girls’ High School. Along with Anmingogae Road and Yeojwacheon Bridge, Gyeonghwa Station is one of the top three spots in Jinhae for taking photos of the cherry blossoms. The area is often featured in Korean movies and dramas such as the film “Boy Goes to Heaven” (2005) and the drama “Spring Waltz” (2006). 


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

The Andong Public Folk Museum is where you can experience Confucian culture and traditional games of Korea. Andong is famous for Confucian culture and the four traditional ceremonies (the ceremonies of coming of age, marriage, funeral and ancestral worship). Here you can view the lifestyles of the past and important cultural treasures. The indoor museum is segmented into three exhibit halls. At Exhibit Hall 1, the process of going from the birth of a baby to childhood is displayed. At Exhibit Hall 2, the process of becoming an adult to the rituals of death and funeral is displayed. At Exhibit Hall 3, the daily life and traditional games are displayed in small models. Including old farming tools and cloth making process, the folk relics of this museum add up to 3,700 artifacts. There is also a visual system for videos. After you look through the indoor exhibits, head outside to the outdoor exhibits. The outdoor exhibit is a park complex, made of folk houses and cultural assets moved to this site. You will see exhibits representing the Andong lifestyle such as a stone house, a straw roofed, mud-hut and a watermill.


Daegu(Jung-gu)

Modern History Experience Hall Gyesanyega is a public space designed for rest and education. The hall is located in the center of the modern history streets of Jung-gu, downtown Daegu. Visitors can enjoy a moment of relaxation while touring Daegu Modern History Street, as well as learn more about the history of the area through the video hall and about the houses featured along the way, such as House of Yi Sang-hwa and House of Seo Sang-don, at the hanok exhibition hall.


Jeollabuk-do(Iksan-si)

Opened in 1997, the Mireuksaji Relics Exhibition Museum was established in order to celebrate the culture of the Baekje Dynasty (18 BC-660 AD). The museum has roughly 19,200 relics (about 400 of which are on permanent display) that were unearthed from the site of Mireuksa Temple (Historic Site No. 150), the largest temple of the Baekje Dynasty.The museum is shaped like the stone pagoda of Mireuksa Temple and was built on low ground so as not to block the view of the temple site. Main exhibition areas include the Central Hall, Overview Hall, Relics Hall, and the Buddhist Fine Arts Hall. Some of the most treasured pieces on display at the museum are the Mireuksaji Stone Pagoda (National Treasure No. 11) and Mireuksaji Dangganjiju (flag poles; Treasure No. 236). The museum also offers various cultural events and programs, including on-site education, historical and cultural lectures, and summer culture school. Cultural movies are screened throughout the year.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum founded by Son Seongmok is the largest gramophone museum in the world. It has a collection of 4,500 phonographs, 150,000 phonograph records, 1,000 books, and 5,000 items from 20 nations.1) World of Sound: The place for history of Sound. It displays gothic and renaissance organs, music boxes, radios and record players.2) World of Image: The place for silent films and biography films of masterminds and Edison. It displays Edison projectors and televisions, especially one made by Baird, John Logie (1888.8.13 ~ 1946.6.14) in 1925.3) World of Light: Displays items from Gas lamps to the original light bulb that Edison made, an electric generator of those days, the bamboo filament light bulb and the first wall-attached electric lamp. The wall-attached electric lamp is the part of the collection that was successfully accepted at Sotheby's auction in 1992.4) Edison Invention Hall: Displays 850 inventions of Edison's, including t three of his greatest inventions - phonographs, light bulbs and projectors. Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Woljeongsa Temple, located on Odaesan Mountain in Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, offers temple stay programs for experiencing Buddhist culture. Activities include walking through the fir tree forest, touring the temple, trekking by Odaecheon Stream, and visiting the Buddhist hermitage on Odaesan Mountain.


Seoul(Nowon-gu)

Located in Junggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, The Buk Seoul Museum of Art covers a total ground area of 17,113㎡. The museum has three basement levels and three above-ground levels. The museum holds permanent exhibitions and offers a variety of educational programs, and culture and art-related activities for visitors to take part in.


Daejeon(Jung-gu)

Daejeon Modern History Hall opened to the public on October 1, 2013 at the former main building of Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government, Daejeon (Registered Cultural Heritage No. 18). Visitors can see various scenes of history and the development of Daejeon over the past 100 years from the early 20th century to current times. Daejeon operates a planned exhibition hall, special exhibition showcasing history, architecture, design, folk style and other varied fields as well as a rotation exhibition.
