Gangwon-do(Sokcho-si)

Yeongnangho Lake is actually a naturally formed lagoon with a depth of 1.21 Km2 and a circumference of 7.8 Km. The name ‘Yeongnangho’ originated in Silla Period (57 BC – AD 935), when a young man named Hwarang and his friend Yeongnang were returning from the Geumgansan Mountains and they encountered a lake. Awestruck at the beauty of the lake they named it after Yeongnang.Nearby Yeongnangho Lake is a resort with a golf course and canoe rentals, as well as many pedestrian pathways that joggers enjoy in morning. When visiting the lake, one must be sure to stop by the Beombawi Rock; 'Beom' means tiger in English. This rock takes on the form of a tiger. Many visitors climb this rock to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. 


Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Located in Baekje Cultural Land (Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do), the museum shows the history and culture of the Baekje Period (18 BC- 660 AD). Consisting of three floors (B1F-2F), the museum offers a Regular Exhibition Hall (divided into four areas by time period), a Special Exhibition Hall, a Bakje Experience Hall, Archives Room, a 3D Theater, and an Auditorium. Equipped with diverse exhibition and education facilities, the museum displays reconstructed miniatures of relics, photos, and videos rather than real relics related to the Bakje Period, which help visitors understand the splendor of the period. It also hosts special exhibitions such as the Photo Exhibition of Buyeo a Century Ago.Baekje Cultural Land reproduces a royal palace from during the Baekje Dynasty (Sabigung Palace), a village, Wirye Fortress, Gobun (ancient burial mound) Park, and Baekje Forest, making it a pleasant tourist destination for families and friends. 


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Seoul(Gwanak-gu)

Horim Museum, founded by Yun Jangseop, displays about 10,000 remains. These remains can be found in four galleries: Archaeology Gallery, Ceramics Gallery, Metal Art Gallery, and Painting and Book Gallery. The museum has two floors above ground and one underground. There is also an outdoor exhibit area, coffee shop and a souvenir shop. Displays include 3,000 earthenware pieces, 4,000 pottery pieces, 2,000 paintings and books, and 600 pieces of metal art. Approximately 44 remains are authorized national treasures.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

Opened in 2003, the Woryeonggyo Bridge (387m in length and 3.6m in x_width) is the longest pedestrian overpass made of wood in Korea. Woryeonggyo Bridge harbors a tragic yet beautiful legend about a wife who made a pair of Mituri (hemp shoes) out of her hair in heartfelt yearning and condolence for her late husband. In commemoration of her pure and noble love, the bridge was designed in the style of Mituri. At the center of the bridge is the Woryeongjeong Pavilion.

Opening its doors in 1922, Namsan Library has enjoyed a long prosperous history. Located in the heart of Seoul, many people visit to search for research materials or to study. The numerous dictionaries or statistics and other reference sources make it the representative library of Korea.Comprised of five levels, the library can accommodate a variety of needs. The first floor is made up of the supervisor's office, exhibit hall, restaurant and snack bar. On the second floor, one can find the Periodical Room, the electronic information room and the audiovisual study room. The lounge and smoking room are also on the second floor. The language room and the reading room are on the third floor. The corner displaying domestic and foreign schoolbooks is especially eye catching. Yongmunsa Temple (용문사) is located about 9km northeast from Yongmun station on the Jungang line. It was built during the Silla Kingdom and reconstructed during the reign of King Sejong of the Joseon Dynasty. It was badly damaged during the Korean War, but was restored and now consists of three buildings, the main hall, daeungjeon, and the bell tower. Its courtyard contains the largest gingko tree in the East, which is 1,100 years old, measures 60m in x_height and 14m in circumference and is designated and protected as natural monument no. 30. Legend says the great Buddhist monk Uisang, who lived during the Silla Kingdom, stuck his staff in the earth, and the tree grew out of the simple staff.
