Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

About two billion won was invested to build the Anmyeondo Island Open Set for Taewangsasingi (Legend), on a site spanning 9,744-㎡ in Nudong-ri, Gonam-myeon, Taean-gun. The set houses military tents for field operations led by the great King Gwanggaeto. The place was used mainly to film glorious battle scenes first introduced in episode 15. Scenes of Goguryeo armored warriors bravely riding horses were filmed here. The new, tough image of Dam-deok, who appeared rather gentle at the beginning of the drama, attracted attention. In particular, a spectacular battle scene from the final episode was filmed at Anmyeondo. Computer graphics as well as about 1,000 extras created a fantastic scene.

Jeollanam-do(Haenam-gun)

With the release of the recent movie 'Roaring Currents (2014)', the haenam region is gaining in popularity, thanks in a big part to the Woosoo Tourist Attraction Area. This area commemorates the Myeongryang Battle and the great victory that was achieved by Admiral Yi Sun-Sin in 1597. This remarkable site embraces an important role in Korean history and became a national tourist site in 1986, in addition to the Memorial Park (1990) of Admiral Yi, overlooking Uldolmok. A number of exhibition halls are designed to showcase the remains related to the naval battle and sculpture parks in rememberance of the great defeat over Japan.

Jeollabuk-do(Jinan-gun)

Uniram Baniram Valley (5km long) falls between Myeongdeokbong Peak and Myeongdobong Peak in the northeastern region of Mount Unjangsan. The name Uniram refers to the steep walls of the valley where nothing but the sky, rocks, thick forests, and clouds can be seen. The valley is also befittingly named Baniram since it is so deep that it only receives direct sunlight for half the day. There are many strangely-shaped rocks like Jjokduri Rock, Cheollyeop Rock, and Daebul Rock scattered throughout the lush valley. At the peak of summer, the area is crowded with vacationers and is also popular for its autumn leaves.
