Paradise Spa Dogo

Everyone needs a break and Paradise Spa Dogo is the ideal recuperation hot spring. Opened by Paradise Group, the spa is a large-scale leisure facility in the heart of the hot spring center of Asan, Chungcheongnam-do. Boasting a relaxing environment of 24,622㎡, the spa can comfortably accommodate up to 5,000 people at one time. The facility includes a Bade Pool for water massage treatments, a large pool with year-round warm sulfur hot spring water, and a variety of water recreation options. Particularly popular is the outdoor event spa, which is run with seasonal themes: in winter, special spas of Acanthopanax, ginger, and mandarin orange peel are open for enjoyment. Those visiting over the weekend can also participate in kimchi-making, persimmon-picking, and farm life programs. A spa visit can also be combined with a trip to one of the many nearby tourist attractions such as Hyeonchungam Temple, Oeamni Folk Village, Onyang Folk Museum, Sinjeongho Lake, and the Maeng Sa-seong House.

Uireung Royal Tomb [UNESCO World Heritage]

Uireung (의릉) is the royal tomb of King Gyeongjong (1688-1724, reign 1720-1724), the 20th ruler of the Joseon Dynasty, and his second wife, Queen Seonui (1705-1730).King Gyeongjong was the first son of King Sukjong and Janghuibin, who was one of King Sukjong’s concubines. King Gyeongjong, who was born weak and anemic, died only four years after becoming king, without any great political achievements. As a results, queen Seonui became the crown princess in 1718 and queen in 1720 when King Gyeongjong ascended to the throne. She is known to have had a kind heart and prudent personality.Uireung’s tombs differ from the other royal double tombs in that they are not placed side-by-side. Instead, according to geomantic theory, one tomb has been placed directly behind the other one. The arrangement also shows that when making tombs, Korean ancestors did their best to protect the natural environment.

Lasonjae
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Housed in the Culinary School of Korea History and Culture in Gyeongju, the Laseonjae restaurant serves unique culinary delights that recreate the cuisine served in the royal courts of the Silla Kingdom. The school has a well-established reputation as a culinary institution that excels in preserving the taste and cooking styles of the past. Laseonjae was opened with the goal of promoting Isageum, the Silla-style course meal that the school developed after many years of research.The Isageum table consists of various dishes served in the royal court of Silla: the dishes are made of 9 rare, medicinal ingredients called gujinmi. The interior of Raseonjae is decorated mostly in gold, the color that defines the Silla Kingdom. Note the columns with lotus leaf patterns and other characteristics unique to banquet halls from the Silla royal court. Eight Scenic Views of Bukchon

Bukchon, literally translated to northern village, refers to the neighborhood located north of Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. The southern land of Jongno, which is present day Namsan, was referred as Namchon, meaning southern village. Bukchon Village was resided mostly by relatives of royal families and powerful authorities while Namchon Village was settled by middle class government officials during the Joseon period. Now referred to as the Bukchon Hanok Village, the neighborhood has become one of Korea's most representative tourist attractions that provide various photo ops. Jeju Nanta Theatre

The Jeju Theatre for Nanta, located at Art Theater of Jeju Media Center, has a total of 336 seats inclusive of 128 of VIP seats and 208 of S-class seats. Visitors may enjoy the exciting rhythm of Nanta, which is marking its 11th year in Jeju Island, a natural tourist attraction in Korea.
