“YOULL: 율” is a traditional performance meeting all of Korean traditional art types such as Korean dance, martial arts, swordsmanship, music, play, and music - all in one stage. The traditional permanent performance by Jeongdong Theater has been offering beauty of Korean traditional based on classical novels. In 2016, Jeongdong Theater launched a new performance brand 'YOULL' to show contemporary and traditional performance which is completely created from characteristics and story.

Synopsis

In the past, a king, ‘Baek Mir’ and his daughter ‘Choa’ lived in the world of lights ‘Mirinae’ with respect of their people. However, the king of darkness 'Masin', attacked Baek Mir to dominate the world with darkness during a joyous feast occasion. Finally, Baek Mir died and the world changed to darkness.
On dark and rainy days, fellow citizen from Mirinae named ‘Gaon’ thirsted for revenge for losing his nation and his brother ‘Raon.’ Meanwhile, a sorcerer of Masin, ‘Mongni’ predicted that Gaon will be a threat to their plans ...
