With four floors, Namsan Donboseong is the largest Chinese restaurant in Myeong-dong. It’s a great place for group dining since it has separate rooms in addition to the main hall. It serves a wide variety of course meals as well as simple lunch specials. - It’s located near Namsan Hiking Trail, Namdaemun Market, and Myeong-dong.

Tongin Market is the place to go for traditional gireum tteok-bokki. The market is well-known as the best place in Korea for gireum tteok-bokki, and even foreign tourists come to have a taste. Gireum tteok-bokki is made by stir-frying rice cakes in oil and seasonings. There are two types of gireum tteok-bokki sold here. One kind is seasoned with just oil and soy sauce; the other is seasoned with spicy red pepper flakes and oil. Three of Tongshin Market’s gireum tteok-bokki eateries are particularly famous and popular. One such eatery is Original Grandmother's Gireum Tteok-Bokki. The shop has been featured on TV programs. Another is Hyoja-dong’s Old School Tteok-Bokki, once visited by John Kerry in 2014 while he was the U.S. Secretary of State.  

Jangwidong Yuseong Jip (장위동유성집) is located 200m away from Myeongdong Station, this restaurant specializes in beef sirloin grilled over charcoal. It is famous for its affordable prices and great tasting menu, which satisfies both locals and travelers. Spacious facilities (about 165 m²) and a comfortable atmosphere have also added to the establishment’s popularity. English service is available.

This restaurant specializes in samgye-tang (ginseng chicken soup) and has had 60 years of tradition in Nampo-dong. It has been family run for many generations.

Jung Sik Dang (정식당) is a Korean restaurant launched by a chef who studied and worked in the U.S. and Spain. The restaurant introduces a new concept of Korean cuisine, offering new items that break away from the stereotypes of Korean cooking with avant-garde presentation and cooking methods and ingredients that are a mixture of Korean and Western styles. The restaurant offers a five-course lunch and a 9-course dinner for a unique Korean fine dining experience. Also worth a try are the new dishes that are introduced on a regular basis. Group reservations are available for up to 50 people.

Mad for Garlic is an Italian wine bistro chain that offers 40 dishes with garlic as their signature ingredient, as well as over 100 wine brands. Its interior, designed primarily with wood and brick, adds a rustic ambience for a more relaxed dining experience.

Cafe How serves a wide variety of food and beverages. It is, however, more than just an eatery; it is a cultural space filled with various natural elements.
