The name of this restaurant means “grandma’s noodle soup.” Opened in 1958, the restaurant serves guksu made from a traditional recipe handed down to grandma’s daughters. While the restaurant looks like an ordinary snack bar, it attracts crowds of customers because of the wonderful flavor of its guksu. The secret lies in a mouthwatering, delicately spiced seafood broth, as well as tender, hand-made noodles and mildly flavored tofu. A bowl of guksu is the perfect snack, and the service is also great.

It’s a relatively new place very small but very yummy. On the warmer days this place is paradise to get a cone and lounge in the park. It’s a good walk by place for a cutesy and delicous ice cream. Recently probably since it’s winter they have been selling cake pops. I didn’t try one but my friend has they are on the small side but she said they were good. They dress these flavors up with cute and tasty cones as well as candies and other things.

Pro Ganjang Gejang is a restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, serving soy sauce marinated crab (ganjang gejang). This restaurant opened in 1980 as the first ganjang gejang restaurant in Korea.Since its opening, it has grown in popularity not only among Koreans also among foreign visitors. In 2010, it opened a branch in Tokyo, Japan.
