The place looks like a small hanok village with 4 one-story buildings and 2 two-story buildings, constructed on about 5000㎡ of building site. A bathtub is installed in the largest room, Numaru Suite. Auxiliary facilities include the seminar room which is located in the two-story building. There are a cafe and a pizza restaurant on the first floor for meetings or simple meals. Guests are given discount coupons for the cafe. Various traditional plays can be enjoyed in the hanok. It is possible to take photos with the beautiful Hwangnamgwan building in the background wearing traditional Korean clothes. You can also play Neolttwigi, Tuho, and Jegichagi in the wide yard and experience twisting legs, bastinado, turning the millstone, fulling, Pogurak (dancing play), etc. which have appeared on TV dramas. Gokjeongjae House

Gokjeonjae is built in the architectural style used by wealthy rural families found in the Yeongnam and Honam regions during the late Joseon period. In terms of the house's structure, the Munganchae (servants' quarters), Sarangchae (men's quarters) and Anchae (women's quarters) are arranged in a straight line, and surrounded by a 2.5m-high cobblestone wall based on the concept of a gold ring. Due to the academic value of the unique architectural techniques used in building it, the guest house has been designated as a local cultural heritage. The exterior maintains the traditional hanok's style while the interior is equipped with modern conveniences. One room can accommodate six to eight people, suitable for families. The red clay Ondol (traditional Korean floor heating system) is similar to a sauna as the floor is heated with firewood.

The Toenmaru (a narrow wooden porch running along the outside of the room), pillars and tiles of the neat and well-constructed Korean style house, shine as if they are wiped with oil every day. The peak of Mt. Gayasan beyond the house looks like a picture at a glance. The Moon Garden has 10 rooms in total. Among them, 2 Special Rooms are a little wider than ordinary rooms and equipped with a sink. Though cooking in the room is not allowed, simple food and beverage can be consumed if they are cleaned well afterwards. The room with a single bed is good for a solo traveler or a foreigner who is not accustomed to sleeping in an Ondol room. It takes only 3 minutes to go to Haeinsa Intercity Bus Stop. It is required, however, to pay the admission fee to Haeinsa Temple and the parking fee in addition to the room rates because the house is located on the way to Haeinsa Temple. It is recommended to enjoy walking around the Haeinsa Temple early in the next morning or going up to nearby peaks such as Mt. Maehwasan or Namsan Cheil Peak.
