NANTA is a top non-verbal cooking performance featuring traditional rhythms of samulnori (traditional percussion quartet). Through the use of various kitchen utensils such as knives, pots and pans, the performance concludes with an ending so dynamic that audiences may feel their stresses been relieved. Currently, NANTA is holding performances at Myeongdong, Chungjeongno, Hongdae and Jeju theaters.

Jump(점프)

 

Actors who are professional in martial arts walk through the audiences and select a martial arts master on stage. The spectator turned martial arts master unknowingly blends into the act, and burst into laughter with the actors. Besides the nation’s representative Taekwondo, JUMP also showcases acts involving Taekkyeon (traditional Korean martial art), and even acrobatic movements that brings an energetic and refreshing experience to the audience. As one sits through Jump performance, you may feel as if you’d transformed into a martial arts expect inadvertently.

BIBAP: Bibimbap Performance

BIBAP: Bibimbap Performance is a musical based on the battle of Korean representative dish, bibimbap and other international food including sushi, pizza, chicken noodles by ‘Green Chef’ and ‘Red Chef in the show.  The process of making the food accompanied with 100% real sound made by beat boxing, along with b-boy dance, stimulates excitement of all audience. Above all, their final dishes are judged by a randomly selected audience member, who then determines which chef stays in the kitchen to carry on the legacy of making the best bibimbap. For that, albeit the same recital performed daily, whole new sensation can be experienced every other day! Bibap is currently performing at their exclusive theaters in Seoul and Incheon.

Live Fusion Gukak Music Performance Fanta-Stick (판타스틱)

The word ‘Fanta-Stick’ is combined with two words, ‘Fantastic' and ‘Stick’, which is used for playing percussion. Musical ‘Fanta-stick’ unravels a timeless love story with a fusion of gukak and percussion performance that will not bore the audience. In particular, the audience’s curiosity is raised as most wonder how the two music genres completely differ in styles such as arirang, can be played in a sorrowful mood in a merry recital. Michael Jackson, Bruce Lee, Superman, Kungfu Panda and other various hero characters are painted live at the The Painters: HERO and audience can enjoy the 80 minutes non-verbal performance featuring painting, combined with incredible visual effects and a witty blend of miming, dance and comedy. Eight final ‘products’ will be shown such as sprinkling water acts forming the face of Michael Jackson, Superman formed from 200+ cubes and even the use of water and oil to create a scenery in the sea with Little Mermaid.
