The 22nd Busan International Film Festival kicked off to great fanfare on October 12. This year’s festival features over 300 films from around the world. Stand-out films include the works of Darren Aronofsky, Hollywood director of Black Swan featuring Natalie Portman, as well as Hirokazu Koreeda, John Woo, and Jia Zhangke. The festival will run October 12-21 in the area of BIFF Village, located near Haeundae Beach.
