A Refreshing and Fun Summer Festival!
Sinchon is best known as a trendy college neighborhood that is full of great restaurants and cafes. For two days in July, it will also be home to Seoul's biggest water gun festival. The 5th Sinchon Water Gun Festival will take place in Sinchon on July 29th and 30th, 2017. This year's festival theme is "aliens and earthlings." Locals and tourists will be able to join in and battle the heat and each other with water guns. Take part in the festival then take some time to explore Sinchon's restaurants and cafes!

Aliens vs. Earthlings Water Gun Battle
Though the Sinchon Water Gun Festival takes place in the middle of Seoul, festival-goers are sure to get soaked. Summery clothing and beach attire like rash guards are would be smart wardrobe choices for the festival. In addition to water gun fights, there will be DJs playing throughout the festival's duration. Enjoy the party atmosphere by dancing and battling it out with water guns on the streets of Sinchon!
Get Ready to Rumble!
Festival-goers can bring their own water guns, but water guns will also be available for sale at the festival. Though a water gun is not required to attend the festival, visitors should think twice before stepping onto a battlefield unarmed. Choose from a variety of gun sizes and types; and keep in mind that bigger isn't always better. Take up arms and let loose in Sinchon!

Ssangpandaek Yangnyeom Galbi is conveniently located in Sinchon and the restaurant specializes in yangnyeom galbi (marinated grilled ribs).
