Sinjeongho Tourist Park was created in 1993 on land spanning 272,000 square meters in the Bangchuk-dong area of Asan City. The park has various attractions including a grass plaza, bird garden, wildflower park, sculpture park, youth facilities, and 8.45 meter-high statue of Admiral Lee Sun-shin. The ecological park at the tourist park entrance is home to a variety of plants such as pine trees and azalea flowers, while the sculpture park attracts visitors in the winter with a large ice sculpture 8 meters wide and 3 meters high. Sinjeongho Lake, located in front of the tourist park, is a popular fishing spot throughout the year and visitors can enjoy a leisurely ride on motor boats or pleasure boats.

Korea Bamboo Museum
Jeollanam-do(Damyang-gun)

The Korean Bamboo Museum opened in March 1998. It is a comprehensive complex that preserves, exhibits, produces, and allows people to experience bamboo products. It was established to provide a resting area for visitors to Damyang, and to promote the unique bamboo arts of the Damyang region. The museum has five exhibition halls. It has a collection of around 2,555 bamboo products, all of which are on display, ranging from products dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, to modern-day products, as well as other foreign items. The bamboo arts of Damyang have a history of 500 years, starting from the early Joseon Dynasty. The bamboo products are of high quality and known for their tenacity and resilience, since the only bamboo used is custom-made by craftsmen.

Unamjeong

Located inside a Gwangwon-do Province resort, Unamjeong is an upscale Korean restaurant that features traditional dishes served in many different styles such as ilpum (main individual dishes), hanjeongsik (set dishes), natgoetsang (lunch) consisting of banga dishes (noble class cooking style), sikgaek (gourmet) bansang, sura jeongsik (royal court meal) and jineobyeol manchan (feast).
