Korea History and Culture Park
Chungcheongnam-do(Cheonan-si)

The Korea History and Culture Park was created 200,000 square meters of land in Jisanri Gukhagwon, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It is based on the creation myth Dangun’s Gaechoen & Hongik spirit that encompasses and embraces every ideology, religion and culture.At the center of the park is a 33 meter high statue of the founder of Korea, Dangun, holding a globe. The statue is the largest of its kind in Korea.At the entrance is a monument of Cheonbugyeong, a scripture of Daejonggyo, and at the Square of Liberalization History are statues built to remember the spirits of independent movement activists who sacrificed their lives for the nation, including Yu Gwan-Sun, Ahn Jung Geun, and Yun Bong-Gil. There are statutes of five internationally beloved religious and philosophical figures: Buddha, Confucius, Jesus, Socrates and Indian Saint. As a symbol of sacred love, there’s also a statue of the Mother Mary.By the year 2013, the Korea History and Culture Park will include facilities to provide visitors with a valuable experience of the nation’s history and culture: Korea History & Culture Center, Damul Exhibition Hall, Seondo Cultural Experience Field (including Ungnyeo cave, waterfall and a gazebo), the Jangseung totem pole, Sotdae Park, Sculpture Park, Traditional Seondo Folk Village, National archery place, and a stable for horseback riding.In collaboration with Gukhagwon Inc. the Korea History and Culture Park offers a tour program where you may take a special lecture on Gukhak and visit the exhibition area. It is a great opportunity for visitors to experience first hand Korean history and cultural tradition.

Hagosudong Beach
Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Hagosudong Beach, often referred to as 'the Saipan of Korea' with its sandy beach and spectacular formation of rocks and cliffs, is located on Udo Island off the coast of Jeju-do. Although all beaches surrounding Jeju-do are beautiful, Hagosudong is more exotic and distinctive in nature. With a fairly shallow sea level and soft sand, visitors of all ages can enjoy relaxing and walking along the shore while gazing out at the pristine ocean vistas. During the peak summer season, the island becomes packed with visitors from the mainland. 2018 PyeongChang K-pop Festival
Seoul(Guro-gu)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization are sponsoring the 2018 PyeongChang K-pop Festival for foreigners at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome on the evening of September 8. The line-up will include hallyu stars like SHINEE, BEAST, Wonder Girls, Boys Republic and more. Other activities of the festival include a special stage, hallyu drama experience booth, photo wall, gift event and more. Museum of Old Roads

The Museum of Old Roads (Former Mungyeongsaejae Museum) offers the history of traditional roads and routes in Korea. In the past, Mungyeongsaejae was a transportation hub for the people of Korea, particularly during the Joseon Period. Mungyeongsaejae is home to Haneuljae (one of the oldest roads in Korea, first established in 156 AD), Tokkibiri (a famous trade route), and Yugok Station (a transport hub in the Yeongnam area).Even though the importance of the roads as travel routes has diminished over time, they continue to increase in culture significance, conveying the area’s rich traditional heritage to visitors. The Museum of Old Roads was opened in 2009 after having been remodeled from the Mungyeongsaejae Museum, which mainly dealt with local history.

Jeju Horse Park

The Jeju Horse Park offers a venue to understand Jeju’s horse culture in an easy and fun way. The park has kept intact a 600-year nomadic cultural history of nomadic cultures at the site of the Gasi-ri village which used to house Gammajang, the place for raising the best horse during Joseon Dynasty. Chujeon Station

Suncheon Bay Reeds Festival

Suncheon Bay is a treasury of nature, comprised of both flatlands and reed fields. Varying by seasons, visitors can expect different types of nature scenes. Migratory birds soaring through the skies in spring, mudskippers and mud flats in summer, turkey and reeds in fall, as well as, the rare hooded cranes in winter – about 200 species of migratory birds can be seen at this ecological tourism spot in Korea.
