Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Wooyang Art Museum, located in the Bomun Tourist Complex, is a private gallery of modern art established in 1991. The collections of major modern and contemporary artists are on display. The museum targets famous modern art collections and retrospective exhibitions of artists in the middle of their careers. Nearly 450 pieces of European and American sculptures, paintings, and photographs from the 1960s, along with leading collections of Korean modernist art from the 1970s, are displayed in Wooyang Art Museum. In particular, modern Eastern European art and decorative art collections, a rarity in Korea, are on display here. The place has also beeb showcasing modern and contemporary art from a historical perspective through a large-scale international exhibition, and plans to hold a special exhibition for renowned domestic and foreign artists in the middle of their careers who have suggested art trends ahead of their time. Furthermore, various lecture and exhibitions have been held to meet the diverse needs of local citizens, making Wooyang Art Museum a major cultural center in the community.


Seoul(Nowon-gu) , The Eastern Part of the Seoul

Along with the other great mountains near Seoul, Suraksan Mountain has its own unique beauty throughout the year. Its cluster of small peaks is reminiscent of Seorak or Wolchul mountains and among its valleys and peaks, a number of treasures unfold. In the springtime, the ridge between Suraksan Mt. and Buramsan Mt. is covered with gorgeous royal azalea blossoms.Suraksan Mountain is located on the border of Seoul, Eujeongbu-si and Byeolnae-myeon, Namyangju-si. Buramsan Mountain is located to the south of Suraksan Mountain and Dobongsan Mountain rises up to the west. Suraksan Mountain is easily accessible via public transportation and is a popular daytrip for residents of Seoul.


Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si) , Yongin

Yongin Recreational Forest (162ha) is perched on the southern foothills of Jeonggwangsan Mountain (562 meters high) in Chobu-ri, Mohyeong-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. The recreational forest houses a variety of facilities and nature experience zones that were carefully constructed to cause minimum disruption to Mother Nature while providing maximum comfort to visitors.Facilities include the House of the Forest (forest accommodations), camping zone, meeting rooms, children’s playground, and tracking/walking paths. Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

The Suncheon Bay Garden was established in order to turn 1.12 square kilometers of natural habitat into a conservation area, where it houses over 505 species of trees and 113 species of flowers. Especially, the numerous groups of tulips and royal azaleas are truly a sight to see. In addition, the nearby 30,000-square-meter field of canola flowers is in full bloom in May, which creates a beautiful yellow "wave" of color and trees make a great shades of canopy for the area. Getting there is fairly easy as buses and an unmanned shuttle train (PRT) opened along with the Suncheon Bay Garden and Suncheon Literature Center district (4.64 km) are available for service. Visitors can hop on the PRT and go to the literature center, then also ride the train along the 1.2-kilometer stretch of reeds to Mujingyo Bridge.


Busan(Gijang-gun)

Busan National Science Museum was built to spread science culture and give a chance for anyone interested in science to enjoy everything science has to offer. With a theme around the nearby cities of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do region, the main theme of the museum consists of vehicles, space ships, nuclear energy and more. The museum aims to promote futher understanding of science to the masses.


Seoul(Seocho-gu)

Located at the foot of Umyeonsan Mountain in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Gwanmunsa Temple had its ground-breaking ceremony in 1993 and construction was completed in October, 1998. The temple site has a total area 6,700 pyeong (22,148.76㎡) with 7 ground levels and 4 basement levels. The temple was constructed with a mixture of modern and traditional Buddhism architecture forms. Inside the temple, cutting-edge facilities are used for various cultural events, conferences, and sacred ceremonies. Located near Cheonggyesan Mountain, Umyeonsan Mountain, and Yangjaecheon Stream, the temple is near many natural spots visitors can enjoy. In particular, Umyeonsan Mountain (alt. 293m) where Gwanmunsa Temple is located gets its name as the mountain is shaped like a sprawling cow (the Chinese character 'U' (우) means cow). The temple site was chosen as it is considered an auspicious area. Designated as a City Park and managed by Seoul-si, Umyeonsan Mountain has several valleys with clear small fountains and a dense forest with a variety of animals and plants.


Seoul(Yongsan-gu) , Itaewon・Yongsan

Migliore Busan is located in Seomyeon, an area known as the heart of Busan in terms of transportation, distribution, population, and entertainment facilities. The Seomyeon subway station is also the transfer station for lines no.1 and no.2. The station is surrounded by an underground shopping mall where you can shop for clothes, accessories, and cosmetics, while restaurants, theaters, and stationery stores are clustered around the Daehwa Department Store nearby. There are also many restaurants and stores for Japanese tourists located around the Lotte Department Store, which stands on the west side of the subway station. The wholesale clothing market sits on the south side of the station, along with the CGV Theater and an enormous outlet mart. Lastly, the Migliore Fashion Mall is conveniently connected to the Seomyeon subway station.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

This is the Royal Tomb of King Muyeol (무열왕릉) the 29th of the Silla Kingdom (654-661). He allied his forces with those of the Chinese Tang Dynasty and unified the Korean peninsula. This large tomb is 114 meters in circumference and 8.7 meters in x_height. Natural stones were piled on the bottom of the tomb, and they remain buried underground. The monument stone is gone, leaving only the turtle-shaped base stone and the dragon-carved head stone. Carved in relief is the inscription “Taejongmuyeolwangneungbi” (태종무열왕릉비), which indicates the owner of this monument.
