Gecko's Garden is a fusion pub & restaurant where customers can enjoy tapas, steaks, juicy burgers, and barbecue dishes along with a glass of wine or beer. The numerous windows give the restaurant a luxurious feel and allow for an open view of the lush garden outside. Gecko's Garden serves a wide selection of beer and cocktails, but one of the favorites among the restaurant’s female clientele is its iced tea-flavored sorbets served along with an assortment of fruit. An additional tax of 10% and a service charge of 5% are typically added to menu prices, but from 12pm to 5pm, taxes are waived and customers can enjoy their food and drinks at lower prices.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

Located 26km south of Pohang, Guryongpo Port serves as the docking port for squid fishing boats in the East Coast. Around the breakwater, rudder fish, seaperch, and rockfish are caught all throughout the year. Yellowtails are abundant from September through October followed by the season for Japanese seerfish.

Universiade Gwangju 2015, a combination of passion with culture, sports, education and harmony of students from all across the world, will be held in July, 2015 in Gwangju.Universiade Gwangju 2015 will last a total of 12 days from July 3 to July 14 at the Gwangju Universiade Main Stadium (World Cup Stadium) and other stadiums in Gwangju, across Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongbuk-do province. About 20,000 participants (including athletes and officials) from 170 countries will take part in this event, which comprised of 13 compulsory sports and 8 optional sports as well as other related event such as Market Street, Universiade Park, Athletes Village Cultural events, FISU Gala∙Eve festival and the 2015 FISU Conference. 


Gangwon-do(Yangyang-gun)

Since its opening in 1963, this beach, out of the other 3 beaches in Donghaean (East Coast) continues to have a great number of visitors every summer. Dense pine tree forests, 4 km of white sands, and shallow waters of 1.5m ~ 70m are characteristic of this beach.Also, Naksansa Temple, one of the eight beautiful sights of the Gwandong area (Gwandongpalgyeong), and the Uisangdae tourist attractions surround this beach, making it even more attractive to visitors. The beautiful four seasons of Seoraksan Mountain can be witnessed in just 10 min. by car, and one can taste delicious seafood at Jeonjinhang, only a 5 min. car ride away.


Seoul(Nowon-gu)

Situated in Gongneung-dong, Jeil Bean Restaurant has specialized in bean dishes for over 25 years. Using high-quality beans produced in Hongcheon (Gangwon-do), fresh beans are ground at the restaurant using millstones. There are a number of delicious dishes on the menu at Jeil Bean, from bean stew to dishes using tofu. Particularly popular is the cold bean noodles with rich broth that is a beloved summer dish among Koreans.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Jinju-si)

The Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center is a cultural space located along the Namgang River. A beautifully designed building inside and out, the center has a performance theater and two exhibition halls, making for a total seating capacity of 1,564 spread throughout its two floors. The glass walls on each of the four sides of the building and the glass elevator in the lobby afford a wide-open view of the river. On the rooftop is a resting area where visitors can overlooking the beautiful surrounding and soak in the melodies of nature.


Busan(Dong-gu)

Urban regeneration centered along Sanbokdo-ro road, this road was designated to be the province of renaissance. An archive center where stories of local residents in Sanbokdo-ro road can be found, and a new planned exhibition is held every two months. Personal collection, as well as the history of locals living in this district are well preserved, and such variety of cultural contents is served as a warehouse of resources for the future. * Opening Date: March 6, 2013


Gangwon-do(Yanggu-gun)

Park Soo Keun (1914-1965) was an artist who devoted his life to drawing the lives of ordinary people with a warm gaze. The Park Soo Keum Museum, which has a floor space of 700 square meters, is built upon the artist’s birthplace in his hometown in Yanggu-gun County, Gangwon-do Province. The museum was founded with the intent to develop into a major cultural space for the region and to honor Park Soo Keun’s life and art. The collection of Park Soo Keun’s artworks exhibited at the museum include: three oil paintings including ‘Two Men Sitting’, a number of prints such as ‘The Tree and Two Ladies’ and ‘Tapdori’, the watercolor painting ‘Watercolors’, and dozens of other drawings.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

Buyongdae is a cliff about 64 meters high situated where the Taebaek Mountain Range ends. From the summit, one can get a bird’s eye view of the Hahoe Village in Andong. The name was taken from an ancient history of China. Meaning lotus, the name Buyongdae is said to be given for Hahoe Village’s configuration like a lotus flower. Thus, one can get the best view of the village from the cliff. Located near Buyongdae are Ogyeonjeongsa House, Gyeomamjeongsa House, and Hwacheon Seowon Academy.
