Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Hallyu Dream Festival is a three-day celebration of everything Hallyu (Korean cultural wave). The menu is divided into vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The house specialty, called Papa Nams, is a salty cornbread that is eaten by dipping it in yogurt sauce. The most popular menu item is the Tandoori and Curry, prepared using various fragrant ingredients to create a marinade for the chicken, then cooked in Tandoor. Various herbs and mint that have been cooked into the chicken do not emit an overly powerful smell. Though Indian food has a particular smell, the spicy and tender tastes easily overcome any uncertainties. The Nan is prepared in a fire oven as soon as you order your food, while a surprising wine list awaits your selection. The Indian yogurt drink, Lassi, is also worth a try. The restaurant is perfect for an elegant business meeting.  


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

The Pohang International Fireworks Festival is held at Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, which is also known as the “City of Light and Fire.” The festival features a fireworks competition, a parade of lights, street performances, and a range of hands-on activities. It is usually held around the end of July.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Located at an altitude of 700m in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, Hyundai Village Pension is a large-scale pension complex with about 60 small pension buildings are gathered. All the 60 buildings are independent two-storied pension for quiet and relaxed rest; each building has terrace for BBQ without any intervention from other guests. Jeollabuk-do(Wanju-gun)

Located in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do, Moaksan Provincial Park (모악산도립공원) lies south of Jeonju, an ancient city with thousands of years of history. With an elevation of 793.5 meters, Moaksan, or Mt. Moak, towers over the east of Geumman Pyeongya (delta) extending between the Mangyeonggang and Dongjingang rivers. It is situated in the central part of the Noryeong Mountains. Designated as a provincial park in 1972, the park is home to Geumsansa, a temple that has within its walls national treasures and many regional cultural properties. Its scenic views transform with the turn of the seasons. Because of the mountain’s proximity and easy-access, many climbers and hikers visit all the year round.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Yeongju-si)

Pung-gi ginseng is only grown in the Sobaeksan Mountains and is widely known for its superior quality. The reason Pung-gi ginseng is so highly valued is because of its high content of saponin, which is effective in regulating blood pressure and reenergizing the body. It is even believed to help reduce the risk of cancer. The Pung-gi Ginseng Festival coincides with the peak of the harvest season each year, which takes place around October. During the festival period, visitors can participate in various events, such as harvesting ginseng and sampling cuisine made from the expensive Pung-gi ginseng. There are also many other tourist attractions located in the Yeongju region, including Buseoksa Temple and Sobaeksan Pung-gi Hot Springs.


Gyeonggi-do(Yangpyeong-gun) , Yangpyeong

Batangol Arts Center is located in Yangpyeong. Because of the wonderful scenery of the surrounding lake and mountains, many people visit throughout the year. Batangol Arts Center is not merely a concert or exhibition hall, but also a place for visitors to participate in artistic activities and become artists themselves. It is a highly recommended place for foreigners who want to experience traditional Korean culture. You can participate in various activities at the art gallery, workshop, the ceramics workshop and the outdoor exhibition of the Batangol Art Center. One place you should not miss is the ceramics workshop. Here you can have the chance to actually make ceramics yourself. It is an interesting and fun experience for foreigners. After you finish shaping the mud clay, your work is completed by being baked in a traditional Korean pottery kiln. You can create your personal painting using the various dyeing materials. In the Hand-made Paper Room you can make paper with mulberry.Try making a card or a frame with the hand-made paper. It will be a nice present for friends and family. At the Batangol theater you can watch various genres of performances, from musicals to concerts. After seeing the artwork at the gallery, you can head to the cafe. It is a refreshing space where you can have a cup of tea while enjoying Mother Nature outside the window. The soothing scenery will x_heighten your taste buds and make the tea all the more refreshing. If you want to grab a bite before you leave Batangol, you can go to the Korean traditional restaurant, "Waegajip Bapsang." They have traditional dishes and snacks such as ramyeon and tteokbokki. There are more restaurants near the entrance of the Arts Center.

Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Maze Land is a themed park boasting the world’s longest stone maze, measuring roughly 5.3km in total length. The maze is made mainly using stone and wood found on Jeju and is created to reflect the Jeju's three principle items or "Samda," which describes the things abundant on Jeju Island: rocks, wind, and women. Not just a fun activity for you and your friends, the maze is also good for your health, as the stones emit high levels of far-infrared radiation and the wood (T. occidentalis) produces a large volume of phytoncides. The park, with its variety of trees several decades old, is the perfect place for "forest bathing,” in which people surround themselves with nature (particularly trees) to soak in the natural benefits. In addition to the mazes of tree and stone, visitors are encouraged to check out the maze museum detailing the history of mazes starting from their origin in the 14th century. During the museum tour, visitors may also participate in hands-on activities such as puzzles and games.


Gyeonggi-do(Yangpyeong-gun) , Yangpyeong

Jungwon Falls is located at the eastern edge of Jungwon Valley in Jungwonsan Mountain, Yongmun-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun. It is a popular place for tourists in summer, attracting the attention for its three-tiered falls (under 10m high) surrounded by cliffs with fantastic rock formations that look like folding screens, and a pond with an impressive depth and x_width.
