Gangnam Festival is the biggest festival held in the district, and integrates a series of major festivals. The district hosts the festival to attract foreign visitors and contribute to regional economic growth. The festival includes a Hallyu Festival (K-Pop Concert), Gangnam Grand Sale (up to 60% discounts at participating department stores, accommodations and concert halls), International Peace Marathon and Fashion Festival.

Located next to the Godseok Riverside Restoration Area, the Godeok-dong Ecological Preservation Area is one of the most well-maintained ecological preservation sites in Seoul. Nearby attractions include Godeokjicheon Rier, Amsa Sluice Gate, Hoan, and Hangang River Reservoir Area.

The first Seoul International Book Fair was launched in 1995, the 50th anniversary of Korean Independence Day, in the presence of former President Kim Young Sam and then President of International Publishers Association, Fernano Guedes. It is held annually by Korea Publishers Association in order to promote Korean publications abroad, to strengthen the competitiveness of the publishing industry, to promote reading among the public, and to allow the public to enjoy diverse cultures through literature. This year, the Book Fair features a variety of special exhibitions as well as seminars to cover issues imporatant to publishing industry.

This is an Agujjim delivery service restaurant located at Sinsa-dong Agujjim Alley. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The most famous menu is spicy braised monkfish.


Seoul(Yeongdeungpo-gu)

Located within the KBS broadcasting station in Yeouido, the KBS Exhibition Hall is the first museum in Korea dedicated to the history and evolution of the Korean broadcasting industry. The exhibition hall is a space where visitors can experience radio and television broadcasting production firsthand. The KBS Exhibition Hall first opened on January 1, 1977 and after extensive renovation, the exhibition hall reopened in April 2001. Now, the hall offers better services than before with the addition of a Hologram Corner, 3D TV Experience Corner, and Character Photo Zone. The KBS tour starts from the main hall on the second floor and continues onto the fourth and fifth floors. In addition to the small museum, radio drama studio, sound effect instruments, 9 o'clock news corner, hologram corner, 3D movie experience hall and chroma key corner, visitors have the chance to observe the TV production process and radio programming process through a window that looks out into the broadcasting studio.

Celebrated since 1987, Insa-dong Korean Art and Culture Festival is a real feast of Korean culture and art. Held April or May every year in Insa-dong, the repository of Korea’s traditional culture, this festival features an international folk festival, parade, and singing contest. Street events include ceramic art demonstrations, portrait drawings by street artists, and making traditional rice cakes.
