Shoppers can now enjoy amazing shopping deals as well as a commending view over Seoul's downtown from 63 Square, located in Yeouido. The store had a partial-opening and is currently in the process of readying for their full-house operation. Hanwha Galleria, the operator of luxury department stores, is planning to launch its online shopping store in upcoming February 2016 (exact date TBA), adding more services for international visitors to have a pleasant and convenient shopping experience. The duty free shop also houses luxury restaurants and other food stores in addition to premium brands that were previously not introduced domestically.

The Gimpo Airport branch of E-mart is located inside the Gimpo Airport complex and is the largest E-Mart branch in Korea. E-Mart was the very first supermarket to open in Korea, and the Gimpo Airport Branch was its 52nd store. Also located in the E-mart complex are a movie theater, shopping mall, wedding hall, theme park, and more.This 3-story building sells groceries, fashion apparel, accessories, and a wide selection of other merchandise. The store is open from 10:00am to 12:00am.

Anthracite Coffee Roasters is well-known cafe in Hapjeong-dong that brings new meaning to the term industrial chic. Anthracite's building was once a shoe factory and the cafe has maintained any of the factory's industrial elements and added modern decor.  Beer and coffee are among the menu selections offered at Anthracite and one of the most popular coffees is the Butter Fat Trio. The coffee roasts are named after famed authors, so visitors can order a "Natsume Sōseki" or a "Pablo Neruda." Anthracite's pastry chef bakes the cafe's desserts on the premises. Patrons can choose from cakes, financiers, madeleines, and cookies.

Santorini Seoul is a multipurpose cultural complex comprised of a museum, gallery, performance hall, shop, and a café. The cultural complex, located in the basement floor of Homi Atelier (a famous art supply store for professional artists), is around 700 pyeong (more than 2000 meters squared) in size. The facility can be categorized into three main parts: an open-run museum exclusively for trick art; three galleries / performance hall; and an art museum displaying cat-related pieces. The trick art museum features paintings that are extremely realistic and seem as if they are in 3D. By posing next to the painting in a certain way, you can take a picture and look like you’re part of the painting! In the gallery section, artwork by well known artists is on display and is changed every few months. The complex stays open every night until 10:00pm and is a popular date spot for office workers.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Samcheongdong・The Northern Part of the Seoul

The museum, which is located in Bukchon Hanok Village in Gahoe-dong in Seoul, has on exhibit embroidery-related relics and works of Han Sang-soo, who has been named Intangible Cultural Asset No. 80. The museum was established to promote Korean embroidery artwork, preserve traditional techniques, and encourage new creations.Visitors can view the permanent exhibition and the special exhibitions, and take part in regular hands-on embroidery programs for a fee of 3,000 won. The program operates from 10am to 5pm and does not require a reservation. The one-hour program starts with a demonstration by an instructor, after which participants embroider a handkerchief according to instructions. The handkerchief is to take home after the program is finished. Instructions are given only in Korean, so foreigners are advised to come with a local guide.

Jeongdong Observatory is located on the 13th floor of Seoul City Hall Seosomun building. With a cafe inside the observatory, visitors can enjoy a drink while gazing upon the magnificent view of Deoksugung Palace. In addition, the walls of the cafe are decorated with photos of old Jeongdong for visitors' appreciation.
