Korean Folk Village Sledding Hills
Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si) , Yongin

The Korean Folk Village Sledding Hills possess 3 slopes, one for adults(140m long), one for children (60m long) and a snow square (20m long for infants). Since the hills are an accessory facility service of the Korean Folk Village, there is also a big family park. When you reach the market within the folk village, you can taste Korea’s traditional appetizers served with drinks such as injeolmi, bukeogui, bindaeddeok, and pajeon, as well as the alcohol, dongdongju.There is a bus every 20 minutes going to the Korean Folk Village at the Seoul Nambu Terminal (40 min)

Songtan Special Tourist Zone
Gyeonggi-do(Pyeongtaek-si) , Pyeongtaek

The Songtan Special Tourist Zone in Pyeongtaek is located near a US military base and consists of shopping malls and entertainment facilities. It is often referred to as “Little Itaewon” because it bears a similarity with Itaewon’s alleys. The districts of Sinjang and Seojeong are part of this tourist zone.The main attraction in the Sinjang district is the shopping mall that was completed in 1998. Visitors can shop and spend their leisure time along the 300-meter-long pedestrian road that starts from the US military base. In Songtan’s Seojeong district, there is a popular cherry blossoms road and a public park where people can relax.There’s a bike path on Buraksan Mountain and a wide variety of delicious food at the Pyeongtaek Jungang International Market. The Korea-US Friendship Culture Festival is held in September and the Moro Culture & Art Festival in October. Paju Book City

Located in Gyoha-eup (Paju, Gyeonggi-do), Paju Book City is a giant cultural complex, belonging to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. It is home to 250 publishers with over 10,000 workers. Suwon World Cup Stadium

Opened in May 2001, the Suwon World Cup Stadium boasts a massive seating capacity of 43,000. The concept of its roof was inspired by the image of a bird in flight. Its seats were designed with Hwaseong Fortress in mind. It hosted World Cup matches during the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, and the stadium is currently open to visitors.

Chusa Museum

Gwacheon is where Kim Jeong-hee, who went by the pen name "Chusa," spent his final 4 years in dedicated to the arts, mostly residing in the Gwajichodang residence. To celebrate the essence of his study and the passion put into science and the arts, Gwacheon City opened the Chusa Museum in 2013. The museum exhibits the life story of Chusa and his works of art and science. The museum also has the Fujizuka Contribution Center, a special exhibition and experience room, resting area, souvenir shop, lecture room, and an education room. Gwajichodang is located in the outdoor garden.

Bucheon Park
