Haeundae Sand Festival
Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

This festival takes place at Busan’s beautiful Haeundae Beach, an extremely popular summer vacation spot. The festival’s program is full of events inspired by the beach’s beautiful white sand. One of the highlights of the festival is the hot sand bath (beneficial for health and beauty), where visitors are buried in the sand from head to toe. Other events include a beach volleyball competition, an exhibition of different types of sand from around the world, and a marathon race.The festival continues into the night with spectacular fireworks displays, concerts, and other entertainment events. Popular tourist destinations such as the Jagalchi Market, Gwangalli, and Taejongdae are all located nearby. Visitors can also stop by one of the many restaurants along the coast to sample the sushi for which Busan is famous.

CineCube

CineCube is famous for showing artistic films. Movies that are hard to find at other theaters are shown at CineCube. Those who are movie manias often come to this theater. The theater only has two screens, but it has been renovated and recreated to show off a fresh new atmosphere. The theater boasts a state-of-the-art elevator which adds to the fun of visiting the theater. One feature of the theater that cannot be left out is the annual screening of special films. The schedule is set up beforehand so moviegoers can avoid long lines on the day of the show. It makes the anticipation of the movie twice as fun. Nearby the theater you can find the Seoul Museum of History. It is a two-minute walk from the theater. For those who are art lovers, there is also the Deoksugung Palace Art Museum nearby as well. Also nearby are the Sejong Cultural Arts Center and Gwanghwamun. After seeing a movie or going through the sites nearby, one may work up an appetite. Take a trip to the basement of CineCube and that can all be taken care of. You can find fusion restaurants, pasta, pizza, and convenience stores. Also, on the B2 floor there is a food court with many fast food restaurants.

The History of Whoo

Whoo is a top-of-the-line cosmetics line from LG Household & Healthcare sold in department stores. The line is mainly based on Oriental ingredients collectively called ‘Gongjinbidan,’ which were developed based on a study of treasured books of secret medicinal recipes used by the ancient royal family. Gongjinbidan contains six Oriental medicinal herbs known to be used by the royal family to smooth fine lines and give luster to the skin; it also has outstanding moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects. The line was launched in 2003 and has since become established as a steady-selling cosmetics brand among women, outselling imported name brand cosmetics.

Dongnaeeupseong History Festival

The Dongnaeeupseong History Festival was selected as Busan's best festival for four consecutive years. The festival was also awarded the grand prize during the 4th K-Festival and is considered an excellent example of teaching history through an experiential festival. Sangju Bicycle Museum

The Sangju Bicycle Museum has a large collection of bicycles of all types and sizes, and from all over the world. On the first floor, bicycles are arranged in the order of production year and model. The Maengbang Flower Festival is one of the landmark spring celebrations in Korea and is held every April near Samcheok-si City in Ganwon-do Province. Singyeongju Station

Singyeongju Station is located in Gyeongju, a city that served as the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom for a thousand years.
