Seoul(Gangnam-gu)

Located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Hotel Star is one-block away from the Gangnam subway station. Daejeon(Yuseong-gu)

The Jeongsimhwa International Cultural Center is the large building on the right, just past the gate of Chungnam National University. ‘Jeongsimhwa’ is the Buddhist name of Ms. Lee Bok-Soon, who donated her lifetime savings (a total of five billion won) to the university back in 1990. She had earned the money over the course of many years by selling gimbap (rice rolled in seaweed), which currently sells for only 1,000 or 2,000 won a roll. The cultural center was built in commemoration of the late Ms. Lee. After a series of setbacks and through the effort of many helping hands, construction was finally completed in 2000. The Jeongsimhwa Hall at the center has 1,817 seats and is used for concerts, performances, and other large-scale events. Baekma Hall (450 seats) and Daedeok Hall (200 seats) are used primarily for seminars. For visitors’ convenience, the Jeongsimhwa International Cultural Center has a parking area with space for up to 268 cars.

Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

Bogwangsa Temple is a traditional temple located on Goryeongsan Mountain in Paju-si. It was built by the great monk Doseonguksa during the Silla Kingdom under the order of Queen Jinseong in the eight year of her reign (AD 894). Bogwangsa Temple offers a temple stay program through which participants can learn about temple etiquette and experience temple life. Activities include attending Buddhist services, participating in prayers of repentance, engaging in Zen meditation, and eating temple meals and learning about the temple tea ceremony. The temple is set against a naturally scenic site and the sounds of the water flowing in the valley mixed with the Buddhist chants result in a calmness difficult to find anywhere else!


Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Piagol Valley is located between Nogodan and Banya peak on Jirisan Mountain. It is named so because in the fall the leaves in the valley turn crimson red. It is also one of the ten most beautiful highlights of Jirisan Mountain. It is famous for its fall colors, but it is also a beautiful place to visit all year around. During the spring time, the royal azaleas cover the entire area, and in the summer the lush forest fills the valley. Its autumn leaves are famous enough to be used in promoting tourism in Korea, and during the winter, the snow-covered valley is also a majestic sight to behold.At the entrance to Piagol Valley, there is the largest temple in Jirisan Mountain, Yeongoksa temple, and other national level cultural treasures are found here. The valley is not steep and should be easy for anyone to reach. The path from the valley entrance to Samhongso is breathtaking. Samhong refers to three “hong”s (red) – Sanhong (mountain red), Suhong (water red), and Inhong (person red). Every year, the Piagol Autumn Leaves Festival is held here, and valley trail walk, local produce sales, and photo exhibitions, among other activities, are promoted during the festival. 


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

Manseongni Black Sand Beach is located 3 kilometers to the north along the coastal road from Yeosu Station. The beach, 540 meters in length and 25 meters in x_width, has an average water temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The black sand is said to help blood circulation and remove toxins from the body. April 20 by the lunar calendar (around the end of May to early June in the solar calendar) is known as the “day when the black sand opens its eyes.” Visitors flock to Manseongni Beach to enjoy the maximum effects of the black sand bath. Located 2 kilometers from Manseongni Beach is another beach surrounded by excellent scenery. This place is ideal for taking drives and is popular among vacationers as well as anglers in the summer.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

Ulleungdo Family Hotel (Former, Seonginbong Motel) is located at the entrance of Dodonghang cruise passenger terminal where visitors to Uleungdo Island arrive. Cruise ships to Ulengdo Island depart everyday from Pohang or Mukhohang. The motel named after Seonginbong Peak that looks like saint who soothe sharpness of surrounding mountains. There are three types of guestrooms including western style rooms, Korean style rooms, and VIP rooms. Some rooms have romantic portable bathtubs. Neungkang Sotdae Art Museum in Neunggang-ri of Jechun-si City in Chungcheongbuk-do Province is a museum of 'sotdaes,' which are ancient prayer poles with a duck or bird-shaped figurine on top that were usually placed at the village entrance. Many of these artifacts can be found inside and outside of a modern structure at the museum site, which is located near the vast Chungju Lake. Other nearby tourist attractions include Neunggang Valley that is situated at the foot of Geumsusan Mountain and surrounded by lush pine forests, rocky cliffs, streams and waterfalls. There is also Jeongbangsa Temple, which is told to have been built by the renowned Buddhist priest, Uisang, during the Silla Kingdom.
