Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

The Lovely Motel consists of five floors above ground and 44 guestrooms, of which only four Pension-type Family Rooms are equipped with cooking facilities. The guestrooms are divided into rooms with a view of the sea and rooms with a view of the city. The interior of the motel has recently been refurbished to provide more pleasant and comfortable accommodation. The large restaurant located in the basement level, which is also used as a seminar room or workshop space, provides breakfast, but groups of guests are asked to reserve meals in advance. The entrance is equipped with a wheelchair lift for disabled guests. Guests can easily reach the seaside at Gyeongpo (15 minutes’ walk) and Gyeongpodae Pavilion by foot and can visit Gangneung’s main tourist destinations by public transport as a bus stop is situated close by.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Geommeolle Beach is a very small beach, reaching only about 100m in total length, with a name literally translating to "black sand" in Jeju dialects. The nearly all-grey beach will look strange at first, but soon visitors eyes will adjust and they will begin to pick out where the cliff and rocks end and the sandy shore begins, all in various shades of grey. It is very tiny in size but a charmingly attractive destination for both travelers wanting some quiet time and extreme sports-enthusiasts seeking fun maritime activities along the seashore. The place also displays an amazing view of the sunrise over the Jeju sea, making the beach a destination worth visiting.


Jeollanam-do(Haenam-gun)

The Ttangkkeut Maehwa Festival is an annual celebration of maehwa (plum blossom) in the ttangkkeut (edge/end of the land) village of Haenam, Joellanam-do. Held under the theme of "Spring in the Ttangkkeut Maehwa Fields," this year's festival will present a wide variety of exciting programs including performances, exhibitions, singing contests, and many more over the period of two days.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Chilgok-gun)

Chilgok Patriots & Peace Memorial is a memorial museum dedicated to the soldiers who seized victory by holding up a fierce battle at Nakdonggang River's line of defense for 55 days in Chilgok during the Korean War. The museum consists of a spacious 4-story high building with 2 basement floors and an outdoor exhibition with a variety of artifacts. The museum also has battle miniatures and experience facilities to help foster patriotism and appreciation for the soldiers who gave their lives to protect the country. * Opened on October 15, 0215


Jeollanam-do(Gwangyang-si)

Only recently discovered by the public, Eochi Valley (어치계곡) is the deepest and most picturesque valley of Baegunsan Mountain’s four valleys. There are many waterfalls, large and small, along the 7km valley. The scenic beauty is comparable to that of the valleys in Jirisan Mountain. The sound of the waterfalls and chirping birds are pleasant to the ear. Also, there is Orodae Peak (오로대), where the soothing murmur of cool running water and singing birds welcome visitors throughout the day.  


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Chujado Island is a group of four inhabited islands called Sangchujado, Hachujado, Chupodo, and Hoenggando, as well as 38 uninhabited islands. From the mountaintop, one can experience the beauty of the beach below. The path is located to the far northwest of Jeju Island and connects the hills of Sangchujado (upper Chuja) and Hachujado (lower Chuja).


Gyeonggi-do(Gimpo-si)

The Gimpo Hyanggyo Confucian School is where the tablets of the Five Sages (Confucius, Mencius, Xunzi, Weng zi, Zisi), the Wisemen of the Song Dynasty, and the 18 wisemen of Korea are kept. The confucian temple had moved to Geolpo-dong in Gimpo before being relocated to its current site.


Gangwon-do(Jeongseon-gun)

The birthplace of Jeongseon Arirang, Jeongseon. After the coal mining rationalizing business, floating population travelling Joengseon to the metropolitan area has been dramatically decreased and so did the population at Jeongseon. All the stations in Jeongseon Line have now operates with no station employee reside in and Jeongseon station is the only one with a station staff, maintaining its existence. After Korea started to have a day off on Saturday, the birthplace of Jeongseon Arirang has been a popular touristic place. Especially in every summer, tourists from all over the country flock to this town for Jeongseon’s Market day It has been a must-see spot for students or customers using Rail-Ro.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

The Gyeongju Free Market Bonghwang Jangte offers many shops and entertaining events for night-time visitors to the Bonghwangdae area. Tourists can purchase special souvenirs or even make their own at some of the hands-on tents. There are also food trucks for snacks and busking performances to liven up the evening. The market takes place on weekends from March through December, although the hours are subject to change each month. We advise you to check the schedule on the official website before visiting.
