S&Penguins cafe is a cafe operated and owned by Kim So Hye, who debuted from a project girl group I.O.I. The cafe also serves as a space for, “Penguin People,” which are what fans of Kim So Hye are called. Photos/Professional shoots of Kim So Hye are displayed in different sizes. Also, there is a penguin that has been made into character dolls, and clothes that are being sold. Varieties of coffee beverages are sold (roughly 3,000 won to 5,000 won), which is quite inexpensive.  


Seoul(Seongdong-gu) , The Eastern Part of the Seoul

This cafe is largely influenced by the overall feeling/vibe of the major/representative of the main fashion street in London, Carnaby Street. With Carnaby Street as the main influence, they put as much of Carnaby Street into one cafe as they could! Inside the cafe, there is a bike displayed, which represents freedom, and there is also a leather jacket, a safety helmet, a rider, and the cafe is decorated with many more decorations, which adds to the entertainment value of the cafe. During the day, it operates as a cafe, but, in the evening, it changes to a pub with a mirror disco ball; so, the atmosphere turns/changes 180 degrees. This cafe was used as a film location for the Korean drama, The K2, where the actor Ji Jang Choog carefully pours coffee for Yoona from SNSD, the Korean girl group. It is also known that the star, Ji Jang Choog, frequently visits Carnaby Street.

Seoul(Yongsan-gu) , Itaewon・Yongsan

Song Hye-kyo, one of the first-generation Hallyu stars, once again proved her talents last year in K-drama Descendants of the Sun. Recently, she has publically announced her plan to marry another Hallyu star Song Joong-ki in the coming autumn. Jackson Pizza located in Hannam-dong is known to be Song’s favorite pizzeria in Seoul and has appeared in several K-TV shows. f(x)'s Luna has also mentioned of Jackson Pizza’s Chicago-style pizzas and French fries on a K-TV show as “the food items of [her] life.” Song’s go-to choice at the restau  


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

Busan Cinema Center is the venue of the Busan International Film Festival, which is a major world film festival. There are theaters of different sizes in the 3 buildings of the center, named Cine Mountain, BIFF Hill, and Double Cone. The center runs a tour program as well as film-related lectures. Known as the cinema paradise of Korea, the center is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in Busan.


Gangwon-do(Wonju-si)

Located in Musil-dong, Wonju in Gangwon-do, Wonju Hanji Theme Park offers hands-on activities, educational materials and exhibitions related to hanji, traditional Korean paper, and its history. The 1st floor is dedicated to the history of hanji, including how it was invented and distributed along with presentation of remaining artifacts of hanji. Visitors will not only be able to learn the history of hanji, but will also get a glimpse of how the life was like in the past. On one side of Hanji History Exhibition Hall is an exhibition of various hanji artworks, such as Jiseung Fan by Na Seo-hwan, Manchu by Sobin, and Jumchi Armor by Hanji Development Institute. The Jumchi Armor is made using the jumchi technique, where hanji are layered on top of each other using water for adhesiveness, resulting in rocky and thick surface unlike regular hanji. Hanji that has gone through jumchi technique is light but has a strong enough surface to be arrow-proof and therefore it was often used as a material to make armory or winter outfits. The next exhibition hall, Hanji Media Hall, presents media works such as hanji related movies, documentaries, etc., as well as stories of hanji and the history of Wonju Hanji Theme Park. The 2nd floor is a special exhibition room prepared for hanji or paper related exhibitions. After the tour of the two exhibition halls, visitors can participate in hands-on activities. The two main activities offered by Wonju Hanji Theme Park are Hanji Making Experience and Hanji Craft Activity.

Fete de la Musique, a music festival that is held in France every year is coming to Sinchon. The street festival will give people a chance to experience different culture from around the world while enjoying music and events.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Yeongdong-gun)

Songcheon Garden is famous for its stunning eco-friendly harmony of the resturant building with the geographic surroundings. This image is created by a lot of fountains and water falls made from the valley of Bakdalsan Mountain. The wooden house build with Japanese cedar offers a pleasant atmosphere. Also, a fishery in the restaurant using a mix of clean underground water and natural streams gives a fresh taste to the freshwater fish. Sliced raw freshwater and spicy fish stew are the main menus. The maeuntang (spicy fish stew) features a savory taste with green onion, garlic, and vegetables along with doenjang (soybean paste) and gochujang (Korean chili paste).


Gyeonggi-do(Gwacheon-si) , Seoul Grand Park

Let's Run Park Seoul, located in Gwacheon, has horse races every weekend, as well as various unique experience programs and events to enjoy. The most popular program is the Secret Way Tour, giving access to parts of the park generally closed to the public. The Let's Run Wagon Tour allows participants to experience the excitement building up just before the start of a race. In spring, Let's Run Park Seoul blooms with cherry blossoms, making it the perfect place for a spring outing during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Other seasonal festivals take place throughout the year.


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Taean F Festival is a flower festival held annually in the Sinon-ri area in Nam-myeon. During the festival, various cultural events and flower markets are held against the backdrop of beautiful flowers. Taean F Festival holds a themed festival for each season: tulips in spring, lilies in summer, lights in winter, and autumn flowers in fall. During the lily festival in summer, the venue is covered with lilies in shades of white, yellow, plum and red. The lake in the middle of the venue will be decorated in the theme of “Byeoljubu” (traditional Korean story of the Turtle and the Rabbit). There will be rabbit village to the left, a tortoise village to the right, and a character village on the perimeter of the venue. Hands-on programs such as feeding animals, making cookies, making soap bubbles, and making masks and face painting are also available.


Busan(Gangseo-gu)

Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam is located just outside Busan, making it convenient for both Busan locals and residents from Gyeongsangnam-do.
