Horim Museum, founded by Yun Jangseop, displays about 10,000 remains. These remains can be found in four galleries: Archaeology Gallery, Ceramics Gallery, Metal Art Gallery, and Painting and Book Gallery. The museum has two floors above ground and one underground. There is also an outdoor exhibit area, coffee shop and a souvenir shop. Displays include 3,000 earthenware pieces, 4,000 pottery pieces, 2,000 paintings and books, and 600 pieces of metal art. Approximately 44 remains are authorized national treasures.

The store serves 100% handmade fresh bakery products and beverages such as fresh juice, coffee, or chocolat chaud (hot chocolate), which go perfectly with its delicious cakes. The store also serves a morning set. Reservation is available via phone.


Busan(Suyeong-gu)

The "Busan Fireworks Festival" takes place every October along Gwangalli Beach. The festival’s diverse programs of cultural events, high-tech laser light shows, and myriad of unique and colorful fireworks make this one of the area’s most popular festivals, drawing crowds of over 1 million visitors each year. Though most people flock to the beach for a closer view of the festivities, nearby Hwangnyeongsan Mountain also offers a great view of the fireworks. 


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , SinJeju

Horse racing has become a unique attraction in Jeju Island, also referred to as the Hawaii of Asia. The Korean Horse Affairs Association dedicated 2 years and 6 months to complete the construction of Jeju Racecourse, which opened on October 28, 1990 and became a popular local attraction since then. It is the only horse race game in the world that uses Jeju Island’s native ponies, Jejuma, as race horses, providing exotic and unique entertainment for the audience. The race takes place at the mid-slope of Hallasan Mountain that offers scenic views of its magnificent mountain slopes in the background. The summer night race with its silver-gray light from the light tower and the nearby artificial waterfall provides a romantic and enthusiastic atmosphere enough to chase away the summer heat. * Establishment Purpose – To protect and breed Jeju Island’s native horses, Jejuma (designated as the Natural Monument No. 347) and in result make a contribution to the local community by promoting Jeju Island tourism and livestock production industry. * Jejuma – Jejuma, name given to the native horses of Jeju Island, is a symbol of Jeju Island. Jejumas are bred in the wild with minimum human contact. They also represent the people of Jeju Island as Jejumas are known for their great adaptive nature and strong perseverance compared to their size. Jejumas are designated as the Natural Monument No. 347 as their number has drastically decreased due to the development of transportation and farming equipments.


Gyeonggi-do(Bucheon-si) , Bucheon

Sangdong Lake Park is a well-known recreational space that opened in Bucheon on March 31, 2003. The park is surrounded by the lake, which is home to various species of fish and plants.In the vicinity of the park is Aiins World, an amusement park that displays miniature re-creations of famous buildings from around the world.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Discover the life and literature of famous Korean writer Gasan Lee Hyo-Seok at the Lee Hyo-Seok Memorial Hall. The literary house consists of the Literature Exhibition (chronology of Lee Hyo-Seok’s works), Literary Class, Art Research, Creative Idea Room, and a Theater for literary plays. There is also a mock-up of the old Bongpyeong Marketplace and videos for children, as well as a number of different activities. The facility houses valuable documents such as the author’s first printed newspaper, magazine, and book publications. In addition to its deep literary significance, the house is known for its exquisite exterior, Literary Garden, and buckwheat flower trail.Lee Hyo-Seok (Pen name: Gasan)Born in Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, Lee Hyo-seok began his life as a writer with the publication of “City and Ghost” in 1928. Subsequently publishing such works as “Noryeonggeunhae,” “Landing,” “March.” and “Meet by Chance,” Yi actively established himself as an author sympathetic to the proletariats during the Japanese Colonial Period. Later on, he was an active member of an authors’ modernism association and published more books, this time focusing on his empathy with Mother Nature. In the mid-1930s Lee published "When the Buckwheat Blossoms," one of the most celebrated Korean short stories to date.


Daegu(Dong-gu)

Located in the center of Gyeongsang-do, Daegu International Airport is a convenient local transportation hub that provides access to most parts of the country. It is the only international exchange center in Gyeongsangbuk-do (Gyeongbuk). The cities of Gyeongsan and Yeongcheon are about 30 minutes from the airport, which serves as a major hub in Yeongnam region. Popular Gyeongbuk-area attractions including Gyeongju, Andong, and Pohang, are 90 minutes away. The airport’s main building is shaped like a soaring crane, with an interior theme based on a poem by Joseon-era scholar Yun Seon-do called “Owooga” (a song for five friends: water, rock, pine tree, bamboo, and moon).
