Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , SinJeju

Gangwon-do(Wonju-si)

Pak Kyongni Literature Park is the place to explore the life and works of prominent novelist  Pak Kyongni (박경리). The park's theme was based on Pak Kyongni's well-known novel 'Toji' (토지, The Land). The site used to be her old house before it was converted into a park. Covering an area of 10,578.51㎡ (3,200 pyeong), the park kept the original garden and the house in its original state. There are three Toji-themed parks nearby: Hongidongsan, Pyeongsa-ri Madang, and Yongdurebeol.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

2002 FIFA WORLD CUP was held at Jeju World Cup Stadium located on Jeju Island.Jeju World Cup Stadium was designed in the shape of the mouth of a volcano and its roof in the shape of nets of traditional fishing boats in Jeju. The stadium was built 14m below ground level to endure strong winds. Jeju is the most famous tourist attraction in Korea, so there are many places of interest like Mt. Hallasan, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Yeomiji Botanical Gardens and Jungmun Beach.


Seoul(Seodaemun-gu) , Sinchon・Ewha Womans University

The Water Gun Fight Festival was started as a fun way to ward off the summer heat. Young, old, male or female, anyone can join in. With a single water gun, visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainments including a parade and music concert at the festival. Initiated as a social festival through Facebook in 2013, the festival offers all kinds of fun with water guns at Sinchon, the heart of youth and hip culture.


Jeollabuk-do(Jeonju-si)

Chimyeongjasan is a sacred site for those of the Catholic faith and a famous pilgrimage attraction in the southeastern region of Jeonju. Perched upon a steep ridge of Seungamsan Mountain behind Hanbyeokdang Pavilion, the area is the final resting place of well-known Catholic couple Yu Jung-cheol (John), Yi Sun-I (Rugalda), who vowed to remained virgins for all eternity. Situated upon the couple’s grave is “Miracle Rock,” a naturally formed rock that is said to be shaped like Jesus and the Virgin Mary. The site is also home to a 4-meter-high stone cross that can be seen from as far away as Hanbyeokdang Pavilion.The 200-meter prayer hike named “The Golgotha Way of the Cross” is one of the most popular pilgrimage routes for Catholics visiting the mountain area. Leading up from the parking lot and Monmartre Square (rest place), the entire path to the summit is strewn with flowers, making the prayer walk an ideal place for a stroll and some quiet meditation.


Chungcheongnam-do(Seosan-si)

Seosan Bus Terminal is managed by Dongmun-dong in Seosan-si. Buses leaving the terminal go all across Korea including Chungcheongnam-do, Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, Gangwon-do every day. Also, the bus terminal operates local buses to Seosan and Taean.


Gwangju(Seo-gu)

Located in Sangmu zone, Gwangju, FNT Hotel will give travelers comfort. In the building, the restaurant, bar and Japanese style 'Ijakaya' offers the resting and comfort. Gwangju Biennale is held in Gwangju. Travelers who like the mountain tracking can climb Mudeungsan, the representative mountain of Honam. Gangwon-do(Yeongwol-gun)

Jangneung is the tomb of Danjong, the 6th king of the Joseon Dynasty (r. 1441-1457). After having the throne taken away by Suyang Daegun, his uncle, Danjong was condemned to exile in Yeongwol County, where he was later murdered and his remains were abandoned in the Dongang River. When no one else was brave enough to find his body, Eom Heung-do, the governor of Yeongwol Lake, found his body and buried him in the tomb that later became Jangneung, one of the royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. Danjong had been stripped of his title at the time he was exiled. His title was later restored in the year 1698, during the reign of King Sukjong, receiving the posthumous name of Danjong, and thereafter was referred to as King Danjong.Jangneung houses such buildings as Jeongjagak, Baesikdansa, Jaesil, Yeongcheon, and Hongsammun, and a history hall with relics of Danjong. The area is surrounded by magnificent pine trees. Since 1967, a religious service called Danjongje is held every year on April 5th, according to the lunar calendar, in commemoration of Danjong.[Buildings in Jangneung]* Jeongjagak Stone – This is where a special offering is presented during the Danjongje service.* Danjongbigak Stone – The building houses the tombstone with the inscription "Joseonguk Danjong Daewang Jangneung."* Baesikdansa Temple – Built in 1791, the building enshrines the tablets of the subjects and eunuchs of Danjong who dedicated their lives to the king. Every year, a religious service is held on their behalf following the service for Danjong.* Yeongcheon Stream – Water was pumped from this well on Danjongje day. Normally, the well only produces a small amount of water, but it is said that water pours out in large amounts during the time of Danjongje.* Danjong History Hall – Miniature models depict the life of Danjong, from the time he became a king to the time of his death. 


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Running across from Dongmun Market in Jeju City, Sanjicheon Stream is home to a rich array of freshwater fish (e.g. sweetfish, gray mullets, Amur goby, and carps). In summer, it attracts hundreds of thousands of anglers as well as children. The port, downstream from Sanjicheon Stream, is renowned for picturesque views of fishing boats, egrets, and seagulls. A restored Chinese sailing vessel is exhibited at the end of the stream for visitors. Along the stream are walking paths, a park, and music fountains, in which Sanjicheon Art Festival and a slew of cultural events and performances are held every summer and winter, attracting many visitors.  


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

Ulleungdo is a pentagon-shaped island located 92km away from Dokdo.The island was made from a series of volcanic eruptions. Its highest peak is called Seonginbong Peak, and there is a village along the coastline on the slope. On the north side is a caldera crater which collapsed to create the Nari Basin and the Albong Basin.Level ground is difficult to find here and the shores are mostly cliffs. There are a lot of snow in the winter. About half of the people work in the fishing industry. Corn, potatoes, wheat and beans were cultivated here, but nowadays mountain plants and medicinal herbs are mostly grown instead.There are dongbaek trees and some 650 other plants and trees thriving on the island. The neighboring waters is the junction line between two cold & warm ocean currents, where many squids, saury and pollacks are caught. The Ulleungdo squid is especially famous for their outstanding quality. It has been said that there are no thieves, pollution or snakes on Ulleungdo Island. On the other hand, there are many aromatic trees, wind, beautiful women, water and rocks. This is why it is called the island of The Three Mu (The Chinese character meaning ' have nothing') and Five Da (The Chinese character meaning 'have many of').You can enjoy the scenery by taking a cruise around Ulleungdo, Gwaneumdo Islands, and a natural tunnel. Elephant Rock, Samseonan, and Lion Rock are some of the other tourist attractions praised by tourists.
