Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

2002 FIFA WORLD CUP was held at Jeju World Cup Stadium located on Jeju Island.Jeju World Cup Stadium was designed in the shape of the mouth of a volcano and its roof in the shape of nets of traditional fishing boats in Jeju. The stadium was built 14m below ground level to endure strong winds. Jeju is the most famous tourist attraction in Korea, so there are many places of interest like Mt. Hallasan, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Yeomiji Botanical Gardens and Jungmun Beach.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Ocean 700 is a large water theme park located on top of Daegwallyeong Mountain in Pyeongchang of Gangwon-do Province. Its indoor facilities include several different pools and mega slides, while its outdoor facilities include cabanas, sunbeds and still more pools. Visitors may take advantage of the water park's special spa and massage services, or quench hunger and thirst with a variety of foods and beverages served.

Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Running across from Dongmun Market in Jeju City, Sanjicheon Stream is home to a rich array of freshwater fish (e.g. sweetfish, gray mullets, Amur goby, and carps). In summer, it attracts hundreds of thousands of anglers as well as children. The port, downstream from Sanjicheon Stream, is renowned for picturesque views of fishing boats, egrets, and seagulls. A restored Chinese sailing vessel is exhibited at the end of the stream for visitors. Along the stream are walking paths, a park, and music fountains, in which Sanjicheon Art Festival and a slew of cultural events and performances are held every summer and winter, attracting many visitors.  


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

The Botanical Garden BCJ was established in 1965 on the belief that nature brings great joy into people's lives. Located in a suburb of the Seoul Metropolitan area, it is a perfect natural getaway for urban residents, as well as an important habitat for preservation of diverse plant species from home and abroad. Moreover, the BCJ offers exciting hands-on experience programs, and also serves food and drinks made with herbs at its restaurant and cafe.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

The Traditional Korean Food Experience Center is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and developing Korean food culture by offering a number of experience programs on traditional Korean food. Visitors can also lodge at a hanok (traditional Korean house) for a little bit of lifestyle experience. Chungcheongbuk-do(Cheongju-si)

Sangdangsanseong Fortress (상당산성) in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do is a fortress built along the natural slopes close to downtown Cheongju. It was comprehensively improved in 1596 (29th year of King Seonjo’s reign) during Imjinwaeran (Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592) and later remodeled into a stone fortress during the 42nd year of King Sukjong’s reign.This 4.2km-long, 3-4m-tall fortress was built with stones of various sizes, earth and sand. The fortress has three gates, located in the east, west and south respectively. The three gates remain almost intact, and all still have their gate towers. The front gate in the south, named ‘Gongnammun Gate,’ is crescent-shaped while the East and West gates are square. The East and West Command Posts also stand within the confines of the fortress itself. This fortress was designated as Historic Site No. 212 in 1970. Additionally, visitors can sample Jujube Wine (Korean traditional wine) as well as a variety of local cuisine.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Eumseong-gun)

Kkottongnae was established on November 15, 1976 by Father John (Woong-jin) Oh, the founder of religious congregation called Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus. Father Oh started Kkotdongne from 1,300 won, when he purchased 5 kans (5 rooms) residence, temporarily named it as ‘Sarang House’, inspired by an old man Choi Gui-dong looking after the homeless people. Kkottongnae now has grown into internationally known institution, committed to local and overseas missionary work, charity work, and social welfare services.


Daegu(Dong-gu)
