Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

The Traditional Korean Food Culture Experience Center was established in order to preserve, research, distribute and promote the values and merits of traditional Korean food culture in the world. There are various hands-on facilities for traditional food culture such as an exhibition hall, cooking room, and a fermentation room, covering an area of 10,000 pyeong (33057.85㎡) in Baegokpo-ri, Yongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. Particularly, it is the a great place for anyone who wants to learn more and take part in various aspects of traditional Korean food culture.


Daegu(Jung-gu)

The Empathy Guesthouse was designed with the idea that guests can make new contacts there by sharing their stories with empathy and affection, so its logo consists of an image of people hugging each other. Taekwondowon located in Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, serves as a Mecca for the 70 million taekwondo practitioners in 186 countries worldwide. Covering an area of 2.31 million square meters, the park includes training grounds, hands-on program facilities, accommodations, and more.The Taekwondowon Observatory (522 square meters) is a three-story building located on a hill near the Taekwondo Strong Kick Statue. Go to the top of the observatory for a dramatic bird’s-eye-view of the crystal clear Muju area.

The menu is divided into vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The house specialty, called Papa Nams, is a salty cornbread that is eaten by dipping it in yogurt sauce. The most popular menu item is the Tandoori and Curry, prepared using various fragrant ingredients to create a marinade for the chicken, then cooked in Tandoor. Various herbs and mint that have been cooked into the chicken do not emit an overly powerful smell. Though Indian food has a particular smell, the spicy and tender tastes easily overcome any uncertainties. The Nan is prepared in a fire oven as soon as you order your food, while a surprising wine list awaits your selection. The Indian yogurt drink, Lassi, is also worth a try. Gyeongsangbuk-do(Uljin-gun)

At the Baegam Hot Springs Special Tourist Zone, visitors can enjoy both the lush mountain terrain of the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range and the magnificent scenery of the East Sea. The hot springs of Baegam are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region and are visited by travelers from across the nation. The water temperature reaches as high as 53 degrees Celsius and contains various minerals and elements, including a strong alkaline content. This makes the water effective in treating neuralgia, arthritis and apoplexy. Recently, it was reported that the water is also beneficial for those with atopic dermatitis, thereby attracting the elderly and families. Recreational facilities for children are also available. The hot springs are located at the foot of the 1,004-meter-high Baegamsan Mountain. The mountain trails lead to Yeongyang and Bonghwa and are frequented by hikers. Densely covered with pine trees, the mountain also has plenty of deep valleys. Sinseon Valley, where, according to legend a dragon once lived, has an abundance of water flowing in different directions. The Baegam Hot Springs Festival takes place annually in early August. On weekends during the festival period, visitors can enjoy street performances and other programs. In the vicinity are Jukbyeon Port and Hupo Port, which are known for snow crabs, and Mangyangjeong Pavilion and Wolsongjeong Pavilion where one can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Sinseondae Observatory, located between Dojangpo Maeul and Haegeumgang, offers picturesque views of the fantastically shaped rocks against the deep-blue ocean hues. "Sinseon" in Korean mean supernatural beings; the beauty of this spot is said to attract such beings to come frolic. The blue and yellow colors layered in the rocks tell a unique history of the terrain. A stairway from the road leads directly to the lookout point.Just past a gas station along the coastal highway, Sinseondae Observatory reveals itself. Walking out onto the rocks of Sinseondae, views of the surrounding islands and incredible landscape open up to viewers. Many commercials and TV shows have been filmed here taking advantage of this amazing setting. April and May are the perfect times to see the bright-yellow rapeseed flowers across the island.


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Yeongan Hoetjip is a raw fish restaurant serving a variety of fish dishes. The most popular dishes are raw croaker fish, spicy croaker fish stew, and live octopus, which is famous in the region.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

Situated on the outskirts of Sinbulsan Mountain (part of the Yeongnam mountain range, in southeastern Korea), Deungeok Hot Springs (72,727m²) is a sprawling geothermal site which includes the Sinbulsan, Eonyang, and Gajisan Hot Springs. Nearby to the Sinbulsan, Gajisan, and Ganwolsan Mountains of the Yeongnam mountain range, the complex is ideal for visitors seeking rest and relaxation after their hiking adventures. The water found in the area contains high concentrations of sodium bicarbonate (substance similar to baking soda), which is believed to be a remedy for dermatitis, indigestion, bronchitis, high blood pressure, and many other ailments. Nearby attractions include Amethyst Cavern Park, Dokkaebi Road, Jakcheonjeong, Ganwol Natural Recreation Forest, and Seongnamsa Temple. ​


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Cheongpodae Beach is located in the coastal zone of Taean Coast National Park. It's gently curved shoreline, unique rock formations, pine trees, and migratory birds all combine to make one spectacular scenery. The sand is white, the waves are not too high, and the water temperature is just right — all these are reasons to make this the next family vacation destination.  Nearby beaches include Yeonpo Beach, Mongsanpo Beach, Baeksajang Beach, Sambong Beach and Bangpo Beach.
