Daeyasan Yongchu Valley
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Mungyeong-si)

Yongchu Gyegok Valley is located in Mt. Daeyasan and it is the unique place where the water does not dry up throughout the year. Mt. Daeyasan, which is located in Wanjang-ri, Gaeun-eup, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is formed of sharp peaks and all different types of Giamgoeseok, and the waters that flow through the valleys do so all year long. It borders Chungbuk Goesan-gun and Gyeongbuk Mungyeong-si, and is located in Mt. Daeyasan (931m). The three-tiered Yongchu Pokpo Waterfall, located in Yongchu Gyegok Valley, is a legendary pace where two female dragons flew up to the sky. Yongchu Gyegok Valley is divided into Upper Yongchu and Lower Yongchu. The place where the water falls out of the granite foundation down to where the heart-shaped pond is, is Upper Yongchu, and below that point is Lower Yongchu. On either side of Yongchu, there are two large markings on the granite boulders, which are said to be dragon scale markings, made as they rose up to the sky. Even when other places are suffering from droughts, water flows abundantly here. Above the Yongchu Waterfall, past the base rock about 20 minutes away, you will reach Wolyeongdae. It was named after its breathtaking view of the moon reflected on the water flowing through the rocks in the valley below. Near Yongchu Gyegok Valley there is the Seonyudong Gyegok Valley, also called Seonyu Gyegok (a place of 9 sceneries) where the Okgyesu River runs through two great rocks, which look as if it is artificially split.

Jeungdo Ujeon Beach

Visitors to Jeungdo Island can explore the sites of salt production and Haetae (a type of seaweed) farming, or go fising at nearby islands, including Naegaldo and Oegaldo Island, Myeongdeokseom Island, Daeseom Island, Bunamdo Island and Myeongseom Island.

Suaedang House
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

This hanok was built by Ryu Jin-geol, also known by his pen name Suae, in 1939. It is located beside the head household of the Sugok Clan who were part of the Jeonju Ryu family. When you enter the lofty, 5-kan*-high gate, you will find 3 buildings that measure 29 kans in total. Suaedang House has a gabled-roof, and is composed of a 7-by-2-kan residential area, and a 10-kan shed, which are situated together in a ㄱ-shape. The hanok was used as an ancestral memorial hall, and later designated as the 56th Cultural Relic of Gyeongsangbuk-do. It has been well preserved, as it was built with sturdy pine usually found in the Chunyang region. The patterns on the lattice doors have peculiar shapes, and the house as a whole faithfully embodies the architectural technique of the late Joseon Dynasty. Sambong Beach
Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Sambong Beach is located to the south of the bridge that connects Nammyeong and Anmyeon-eup. The beach stretches 3 km long and has a x_width of 120m. The beach gently slopes down at a 2° angle and has an average water depth of 1.5m and temperature of 22°C. The beach is easily accessible to many visitors because of the convenient transportation during the summer. The three Sambong Rocks, the Haedanghwa flower (plena) and the rich pine forests are just a few of the beautiful and magnificent features of this beach. The name Sambong, is derived from the three rocks, however four rocks can be seen from the north facing southward while only three are visible from the south. The sand dune created by natural phenomena is a must see here.
