Incheon(Jung-gu) , Incheon Center

With 48.2-㎞ long coastline and a total area of 13.603㎢, Yongyudo Island is located near other islands such as Sinbuldo Island, Sammokdo Island, Yeongjongdo Island, Daemuuido Island, Jangbongdo Island, Modo Island, Sido Island, and Sindo Island. Yongyudo Island and Yeongjongdo Island were once connected by a bridge. The two islands were joined as one when Incheon International Airport was constructed on a reclaimed land between these two. Attractions on Yongyudo Island include Eulwangni Beach, Wangsan Beach, Seonnyeobawi Beach, Geojampo (a peaceful fishing port offering great views of the the sunrise and sunset), and Masian Beach (famous for its red, glowing evening sky). In early August, the island holds a variety of events such as a sea festival, fishing contests and shellfish harvesting, making it an ideal place for nature exploration. Because of its proximity to the airport, the area resembles a resort complex due to the availability of various accommodation facilities such as a floating hotel, casino, and a golf course. The nearby Muuido Island has a couple of beaches, hiking trails and fishing spots. Hanagae Beach is famous for its white sand and row of bungalows painted in strong primary colors. The beach is just a 10-minute car ride from Saemkkumi Ferry Dock. Another beach on Muuido is Keunmuri Beach. This clean, sandy beach stretches out beautifully against the backdrop of a dense pine trees forest.


Gyeonggi-do(Pocheon-si) , Pocheon

Sanjeong Lake is one of the main attractions in Pocheon and is situated down in the valleys between Myeongseongsan Mountain, Mangbongsan Mountain, and Mangmubong Peak.Meaning “lake as clear as a mountain well,” Sanjeong Lake was built as a reservoir to supply water to farmlands in 1925. Thanks to its surrounding attractions, the lake brings many visitors each year. Promenades along the lake are popular for couples as well as tourists who stay in the nearby hotels. Beautiful fog often rises from the lake in spring and fall, making boating at night quite picturesque.Hikers frequent Myeongseongsan in spring and fall. Visitors love skating on the lake in winter. Local restaurants are renowned for their delicious, wholesome food made using freshwater snails and mushrooms. Other local favorites include maeun-tang (spicy fish stew), dotori-muk (acorn jelly), sanchae baekban (a bowl of rice served with wild herbs and vegetables), and deodeok-gui (a grilled dish made from Codonopsis lanceolata root).


Seoul(Yongsan-gu) , Itaewon・Yongsan

The Kim Koo Museum & Library was built to show and express the life and thoughts of Kim Koo (1876-1949), also known by his pen name Baekbeom, who was a great teacher to the people of Korea. He dedicated his life to establishing an independent, democratic, and unified homeland with an developed culture.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

Deogyusan Resort (former Muju Resort) is located in Mt. Deogyusan, and is a representative mountain resort. It blends in beautifully with the scenery of Mt. Deogyusan National Park, and is the perfect place to enjoy winter sports.Deogyusan Resort is great place to relax all year round, with Alps-style first class hotel and a variety of convenience facilities in its 2,200,000 pyeong area. At Donghwasa, located on the slopes of Palgongsan (Palgong Mountain) at Dohak-dong, Dong-gu, in Daegu-si, one can find the Tongilyaksa Yeoraedaebul (Great Unification Buddha) praying for the reunification of the nation. The temple has a number of treasures and tourist attractions such as Ma-ae Buljwasang (a seated statue of Buddha) and Biro-am Seokjo Birojanabulsang (Buddha of the Infinite Cosmit Light). Inside the temple one can find the Daeungjeon Hall, Geungranjeon Hall and other cultural properties. The temple stay program includes Barugongyang (formal monastic meal), Chamseon (Zen meditation), Dado (tea ceremony), making a wish lantern and threading prayer beads.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

Jeju Sculpture Park, opened in October 1987, is located in a primeval forest. It is a multi-purpose art center exhibiting 160 sculptures. In the park, you can feel the traditional beauty of Jeju Island even from the entrance where a tangerine tree was planted in 1970. At the main entrance, there is a Pyramid shape tower, which is a symbol of this park. The tower features reflecting images that vary by season, weather, or position of people who are looking at it.In the park, 160 sculptures are exhibited under the themes of “Meeting of Nature and Art", and "Meeting with Human Beings”. In the park, there is a sky lounge from where you can see Mt. Sanbangsan, Mt. Hallasan, and even the Marado Island at the southern end of Korea.
