The Busan Christmas Tree Festival, Busan's annual winter event, will be held in the Gwangbok-ro area of the Jung-gu District in Busan. To add a more festive atmosphere, there will be concerts, a tree of wishes, street performances, collecting love coins, a photo and video contest, and many more.  


Busan(Haeundae-gu)

Established and run by the Goeun Foundation, the Goeun Museum of Photography and the Goeun Contemporary Photo Museum are located in Haeundae, Busan and are the first photography museums founded outside of the capital city of Seoul. The museums aim to offer more cultural opportunities to visitors by collecting real and valuable works representing both Korean and international artists. The venue also acts in the discovery and support of new and up-and-coming artists. Goeun Museum of Photography has an exhibit room on the 2nd floor, as well as a seminar room and a photo library on the 1st floor. Goeun Contemporary Photo Museum has 3 different spaces for exhibitions, mainly concentrated on contemporary photo works.


Gangwon-do(Yanggu-gun)

The Center of Korea Observatory is located in Yanggu-gun County. The observatory is named the Center of Korea, as it is located at the center of the Korean Peninsula. It is equipped with an 80㎝ reflecting telescope. There is also an exhibition hall providing the most recent astronomy news, a planetarium showing the night sky, and a range of hands-on programs.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Puloonsan Hostel stands at the foot of Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju-si Gyeongbuk. The hostel building is like the Korean-style house 'Hanok' and has the wide room for students retreat and company training. Near Hostel, there are many tourist sports including Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram, General Kim Yushin tomb, Cheonmachong, Anabji, Cheomseongdae, Gyeongju National Museum, Bomun tourism complex and Poseokjeong. The charged breakfast as home meal provides the directly-cooked dishes. The pick-up service at Bulguksa Station and the English guide service are available. A laundry for travelers is available free of charge.


Jeollanam-do(Sinan-gun)

Designated as a biodiversity conservation area by the UNESCO, Jeungdo Island in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do has become popular. Taepyeong Yeomsaeng Botanical Garden is located next to one of the largest solar-evaporation salt fields, and spans over an area of 110,000㎡. Over 70 species of various salt plant colonies grow at the natural mud flat including glasswort, sea-blite, East Asian seepweed, and Herbaceous seepweed to create a splendid scene. Also, one can easily see Tti (a plant) which can not grow in polluted places. Walking along the 220m-long walking path, diverse mud flat creatures like mudskipper, chilge (crab), bangge (crab) and gastropods can be met with close sight.


Daegu(Suseong-gu)

Daegu International Jazz Festival (DIJF) is open to all visitors and it will be hosting both domestic and American jazz musicians. Jazz became popular music genre and this jazz festival will bring joy to the festival.


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , DMZ•Panmunjeom

Yeoncheon DMZ International Music Festival is an international music festival, held in the Yeoncheon area bordering on the truce line. It tries to introduce a new paradigm of international music festival, reminding concert-goers of the DMZ’s meaning to Korea, the sole divided country, and finding a way to peace through music.


Jeollanam-do(Wando-gun)

Nohwado Island, a stopping point en route to Bogildo Island, is well known for its abalone and mussel production. The island produces 70% of Korea's cultivated abalone, and offers seashell harvesting programs. Other attractions include Nohwa Red Sea, Geuknaksa Temple, and the 450-year-old hackberry tree.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si)
