Located atop the Buam-dong hill, the white-walled store displays neat arrays of chopsticks and spoons. Jeojip chopsticks are basically Korean lacquered types, but the designs, materials, lengths, and colors vary. Displayed on the right side of the store entrance is a gorgeous Korean traditional table set with chopsticks and spoons. Chopsticks are sold individually, but sets are more in demand. The store additionally sells spoon rests, cups, and plates, and gift wrapping is available.


Seoul(Yeongdeungpo-gu)

The Yangpyeong branch is located in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu and it has a total of 4 floors with two underground and two above. It is the first and only Lotte Mart with an urban forest theme on the first floor, which provides an atmosphere of nature in the city. The first floor also has restaurants and a resting area while the second floor has Toys”R”Us and Hi-Mart.

The mall features over 270 brands from the second basement to the ninth floor. The products on sale range from traditional motifs to modern designs, such as wine stand. The store also carries specialized Korean tourism products that make for great gifts or collector’s items. Located on the first floor of Daeil Building, Insa Gallery is part of the shopping mall “Insa Korea,” which houses a number of stores specializing in traditional products. Thus, when locating Insa Gallery, visitors might find the address alone confusing. First, enter the shopping mall and look straight ahead toward the end of the central hallway, and you will find the store filled with glittering mother-of-pearl lacquer products.

Opened in May 2016 in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Y.M.C. Seoul is the third store in the world following Y.M.C. UK and Y.M.C. London. The brand Y.M.C. was unveiled in 1995 with a uniquely new sportswear design combining workwear, soccer fan fashion, military look, and traditional costumes. Y.M.C. is short for “You Must Create,” and it pursues the brand philosophy of one creating his or her own style instead of following fashion. Products mainly consist of functional design items such as clothing, bags, and shoes for men and women. In keeping with the brand slogan, Y.M.C. is more about unique design products than trend-sensitive items. The store space spans two floors: the first floor with the main entrance and exit and a showroom, and the base room. The showroom on the first floor displays new products representing the Y.M.C. brand. This is where customers can find all products by Y.M.C. The basement, which is decorated with a small indoor garden as well as artworks on the wall, occasionally functions as a cultural space for special events for customers.
