Sponsored by Yangpyeong-gun Office, the Mulmalgeun Yangpyeong Icefish Festival takes place in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do each winter. Visitors can eat warm fish cakes and roasted chestnuts at the festival. Aside from ice fishing, other traditional winter games and activities such as kite-flying, top spinning, sledding and jjinbbang-making (steamed bun with red bean filling) will be available.During lunch, tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup), bingeohoe muchim (seasoned raw smelt salad) and bingeo twigim (deep-fried smelt) are available at the Women's Society of Soomy Land. The Daejeon International Wine Festival takes place every year, showcasing a variety of imported wines as well as domestically produced wines and traditional liquors. About 10,000 different wines can be seen during this festival. Asian Wine Trophy, a huge scale wine tasting event, and the Asia Wine Buyer’s Conference that offers information regarding wine, will be held altogether. In addition, various food and performance will be offered along with diverse festival programs at the areas of Hanbit Tower Square.

FLYING - Hwarang Wonjeongdae, a special edition of the original FLYING Silk Road, will be performed at Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park in a special performance hall as one of the events at Silk Road Gyeongju 2015. One of the leading non-verbal directors, Choi Cheolgi, who directed ‘Nanta,’ ‘Jump,’ ‘Bibap,’ and more also created this performance, starting from Gyeongju World Culture Expo in 2011 until now, performing for over 400,000 audience so far and gaining a lot of attention as a local permanent performance. The plot of FLYING - Hwarang Wonjeongdae features a Silla Hwarang, a type of warrior, trying to catch the escaping goblin, Dokkaebi, by teleporting to modern times through a time trap, arriving at Silla High School. The show is comprised of gymnastics, rhythm gymnastics, valley dance, B-boying, circus acts, as well as martial arts from Hwarang in the Silla Dynasty, creating various types of entertainment to watch and providing pleasure by the change of scenery through Silla, China, India, Persia, and Gyeongju.

Namyangju Slow Life International Festival will be held to share daily happiness and create a slow life world in the slow life planet. During the festival, a special food table culture from over the world will be featured. Immerse in a world of health, happiness, joy and pleasure at Namyangju-si as the festival will be held for 10 consecutive days.

Cheongdo Seedless Persimmon Festival is held in October at an outdoor stage in Cheongdo-gun. ‘Bansi’ (seedless persimmon) features an astringent taste with a flat-shape, unlike the long-shape of gotgam (a peeled persimmon that is dried in the sun through natural drafts) spreading through Sangju and Yeongdong. Cheongdo Bansi is tender, high in sugar and easy to eat and process as it has no seeds. Thus, Cheongdo hosts the Cheongdo Bansi (Seedless persimmon) Festival to promote their specialty product.

The annual Dong Gang International Photo Festival, which began in 2002, is held in and around Dong Gang Museum of Photography in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do Province. This festival showcases various themes of photo exhibitions to cater to visitors’ diversified tastes and interests. Along with the regular programs, the festival will also offer educational programs. The Dong Gang Photography Workshop will feature quality lectures by some of the most photographers and theorists from home and abroad such as an open lecture from renowned photographers. The workshop will provide exciting opportunities for the general public, as well as professional photographers.

The Iksan Seodong Festival is held for two days in Seodong Park in Geumna-myeon, Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do. The festival, which started as the Mahan Folk Festival in 1969, celebrates the city of Iksan-si. Iksan-si will bring to life the 1400 year old Baekje's Kingdom and hold the festival to express the meaning of world heritage.

The Geoje Island Flower Festival will be held at the Geoje-si Agriculture Development Complex in Geoje-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. The festival will take on a culture and art theme with autumn flowers and insect displays, including around 100 chrysanthemum sculptures and 150 varieties of chrysanthemum. During the festival, there will be a range of programs such as cultural performances, hands-on activities, markets, contests and special events.
