Yongmeori Beach is a place where Mt. Sanbangsan stretches into the ocean and it looks as if a dragon’s head is going underwater. This area is made of Sa-am stacks, built up over millions of years. There are Gulbangs here which are depressed into the shape of rooms, and wide rocks stacking up on one another along the seashore cliffs which create a majestic scenery by the sea. Along the road down to the seashore, there is the Hamel Castaway Memorial, in remembrance of Hamel who drifted to this place in 1653. Just off to the right of the beach is a soft and dark sandy beach. You can meet the women sea-divers of Jeju who sell sea cucumbers and stroll on the road that spreads along the seashore.

Ever since the introduction of high-speed railroads, Yongsan Station has been a primary station for trains heading towards Honam, Janghyang, and Jeolla-do. The privately-owned station has gone through various renovations to update facilities and now stands proudly as the largest railroad and subway station in Korea. A department store, an electronics market, and the I'Park Mall are situated nearby, making Yongsan Station a gathering spot for the younger crowds.

Daegu Stadium is a sports stadium located in Daeheung-dong, Suseong-gu in Daegu City. Construction of the stadium began on July 28, 1997 and was completed in May 20, 2001. Its roof is designed to resemble a globe, incorporating the beautiful curves found in the roofs of traditional Korean houses. The stadium (70,140 seats) is suitable for hosting large-scale international sports games and 74% of the seats are protected by a Teflon-coated overhang. The 11.7-acred stadium has three stories below ground and three aboveground and is built on 130 acres of land just 9km southeast of the city’s downtown area. Stadium facilities include a gymnasium, baseball field, indoor ice rink, horse-riding track, tennis court, fitness center, shooting range, archery range, skateboarding park, and indoor jogging course. There are smaller buildings for taekwondo, judo, and rock climbing. The Daegu Stadium has hosted a number of matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup; Senegal vs. Denmark (June 6), Slovenia vs. South Africa (June 8), Korea vs. U.S.A. (June 10) and Korea vs. Turkey (June 29).

Ulleungdo is a pentagon-shaped island located 92km away from Dokdo.The island was made from a series of volcanic eruptions. Its highest peak is called Seonginbong Peak, and there is a village along the coastline on the slope. On the north side is a caldera crater which collapsed to create the Nari Basin and the Albong Basin.Level ground is difficult to find here and the shores are mostly cliffs. There are a lot of snow in the winter. About half of the people work in the fishing industry. Corn, potatoes, wheat and beans were cultivated here, but nowadays mountain plants and medicinal herbs are mostly grown instead.There are dongbaek trees and some 650 other plants and trees thriving on the island. The neighboring waters is the junction line between two cold & warm ocean currents, where many squids, saury and pollacks are caught. The Ulleungdo squid is especially famous for their outstanding quality. It has been said that there are no thieves, pollution or snakes on Ulleungdo Island. On the other hand, there are many aromatic trees, wind, beautiful women, water and rocks. This is why it is called the island of The Three Mu (The Chinese character meaning ' have nothing') and Five Da (The Chinese character meaning 'have many of').You can enjoy the scenery by taking a cruise around Ulleungdo, Gwaneumdo Islands, and a natural tunnel. Elephant Rock, Samseonan, and Lion Rock are some of the other tourist attractions praised by tourists.

Gugok Falls (구곡폭포) is located near Bonghwasan Mountain in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. The falls twist and turn nine different times before dropping down from a huge stone wall, ending in a magnificent 50m cascade. The falls are surrounded by interesting rock formations, one of which includes the Haneulbyeokbawi Rock.Gugok Falls was designated as one of Chuncheon city’s official tourist attractions on February 13th, 1981. From the ticket office located at the entrance, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the falls on foot. In winter, the waterfalls are very popular among hikers because, when frozen, the x_height and the sheer size of the falls are perfect for ice climbing. If you hike through a nearby jae (a small mountain pass) named "Kkaldakgogae (깔닥고개)", you will come across a natural Munbae village where you can enjoy Sanchaebibimbap (mixed rice with seasoned wild vegetables) and traditional liquor.

Odong Neighborhood Park is located in an area across Beon-dong and Mia-dong in Gangbuk-gu and Wolgok-dong in Seongbuk-gu. The park is large in size and has a dense forests with various facilities like a resting area, a community sports center, a lawn, a tennis court, an acupressure trail with red clay, a walking path, and much more. Semiwon is a park located in Yongdam-ri, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do that was founded on the principle of “natural purification.” The name “Semiwon” comes from an old proverb that says “one can cleanse his mind by looking at water and enlighten his spirit by looking at flowers.” To further emphasize the idea of literal and figurative cleansing, the park was designed with paths made out of washboards and is decorated with lotus-themed poetry and drawings.Semiwon is home to an army of water plants such as lotus flowers, water lilies, and irises, all of which are plants that are well-known for their natural purification properties. Not just a beautiful sight to behold, the plants also have an important function. The 180,000 square-meter park consists of six ponds through water is filtered and purified before flowing back into the Hangang River.Major facilities at Semiwon include the Environment Learning Center, Trial Cultivation Complex, and the World Water Lily Garden, which contains over 100 varieties of water lilies. Visitors to the park can also find water fountains, an observation deck, a traditional wind gauging device called Punggidae, and Monet’s Garden, which looks as if it came right out of the famous picture by French artist Claude Monet.

The Jangsaengpo Whale Cultural District located in Nam-gu, Ulsan-si, is the nation's only facility that has a whale watching infrastructure in place. The whale cultural district is famous for the whale-themed tour program featuring a whale watching cruise, a whale museum and the whale ecology familiarization tour. The whale watching cruise was first launched in July 2009. In April 2013, the ship was upgraded to a 550-ton cruise liner with 399 crew members, therefore offering an even more enjoyable whale watching tour. During the day, the cruise ship is mainly used for whale observation. After a minke whale sighting in May 2013, around 3000-4000 common dolphins were observed shortly after. At night, one can experience a glamorous night view of Ulsan Industrial Complex while enjoying diverse performances and buffet dining aboard the ship. The ship also accommodates various events and programs such as school trips, company workshops, seminars, parties, weddings, beer parties and anniversary events. A trip aboard the whale watching cruise with friends, family, or loved ones will surely make for one memorable experience.

Icheon Termeden has an area of around 30,000 square meters. It is Korea’s first German style spa resort.
