Dongdaegu Station

Dongdaegu Station opened on June 10th, 1969. With the introduction of Korea Trail Express (KTX) in 2004, the station expanded to become what it is today. As the largest train station in Daegu, Dongdaegu Station has the second highest number of passengers in Korea after Seoul Station. It is also one of the busiest stations, as almost all Gyeongbu line (Seoul-Busan) KTX trains as well as Saemaul, Mugunhwa and general trains bound for Gyeongju stop at the station.Dongdaegu Station is expected to become a powerful transportation hub and transit center when its expansion construction finishes in 2012, and then connects to the Express Bus Terminal and Dongdaegu Subway Station in 2013.

Deoksugung Doldam-gil

Busan Sports Complex

Established in 1986, the Busan Sports Complex features the main stadium, Sajik indoor swimming pool, an indoor gymnasium, Sajik Baseball Ground, and an athletes' training center. The main stadium was the venue for the 2002 Asian Games and several matches during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The Sajik Baseball Ground is home of the Lotte Giants, and seats up to 28,500 people. The Busan Sports Complex regularly hosts international sporting and cultural events, while providing excellent facilities for personal as well as group training.

Ttukseom Hangang Park Sledding Hill

The Supia Ttukseom year-round family theme park holds the ‘Snow Flower Village’ program every winter. The three major themed activities include: Fun Play Park, Ice Hill, and the Fun Snow Hill. Some amusement facilities in the village are the 90m long and 15m wide sleigh field, the Fun Snow Hill, a 4-D movie theater, mini train, space ship, mini Viking ship, and folk game zone. Sindangdong Tteokbokki Town

Sindang-dong Tteokbokki Town street was built starting from late 70s, though the alley is considered to have had its best days in the 80s. In addition to being featured on popular DJ programs of the time, the period also marked the prime time of high school baseball where students would crowd the streets during days where Duksoo Commercial High School and Sunrin Commercial High School (now Sunrin Internet High School) faced one another.As the high school students aged they continued to visit the area reliving the period of their youth and continuing to indulge in the specialty tteokbokki. However, some claim the history of this alley began in the 1950s. The owner of Mabongnim Halmeoni Tteokbokki (마복림할머니떡볶이) restaurant says Tteokbokki was being sold as early as 1953 as the area used to be home to Donga Theater and she sold Tteokbokki, corn and potatoes to those visiting the theatre.At first, Tteokbokki was simply made with Gochujang (고추장), but as time went by, cooks decided the dish could be more than just a snack.  So, by adding ingredients like eggs, cellophane noodles, fish cakes, instant noodles and more recently squid, prawn and cheese makes the taste more delicious and turns the once snack into a full meal.

In 2013, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea opened a new branch in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu at the former site of the Defense Security Command. The announcement for the construction of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul (MMCA Seoul) came out in 2009, and the architecture for the museum was selected through idea proposals and an architectural design competition in 2010. What makes the Seoul branch different from the others is that it introduced Korea’s traditional architectural concept of ‘madang’, which is a spacious courtyard where people can come in and gather together to socialize. MMCA Seoul's building is also designed to harmonize with the surrounding nature around the city.Equipped with facilities including a reference center, a project gallery theater and a multipurpose hall, MMCA Seoul strives to accommodate every mode of new artistic endeavor and to communicate with the public. The site is where Korea’s historical and political developments were achieved. Seoullo 7017

In the 1970s, an elevated road was built to connect the eastern and western sides around Seoul Station. However, the road was closed to road traffic due to safety issues. After this, rather than tearing down the existing structure, the road was transformed into Seoullo 7017, a new pedestrian walking experience. Seoullo 7017 gets its name from its years of new life, from being a traffic road in the 70s to a sky garden in 2017. The "17" also has a deeper meaning, with Seoullo 7017 being divided into 17 unique sections, and the road being located 17 meters above the ground. There are a variety of facilities along Seoullo 7017, including an information center, cafes, gardens, and stages. Seoullo 7017 itself is open all day, every day for visitors to enjoy at their leisure.
