Jikjisa Temple Stay

Jikjisa, located in Hwangak Mountain, Daehang-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, has a temple stay program which offers an opportunity for busy urbanites to relax and have some quality time for themselves. The temple stay includes learning temple etiquette, yebul (Buddhist service), 108 prostrations, talks with a monk, lecture on Buddhist culture, chamseon (Zen meditation), and barugongyang (formal monastic meal). Deungeok Hot Springs

Situated on the outskirts of Sinbulsan Mountain (part of the Yeongnam mountain range, in southeastern Korea), Deungeok Hot Springs (72,727m²) is a sprawling geothermal site which includes the Sinbulsan, Eonyang, and Gajisan Hot Springs. Nearby to the Sinbulsan, Gajisan, and Ganwolsan Mountains of the Yeongnam mountain range, the complex is ideal for visitors seeking rest and relaxation after their hiking adventures. The water found in the area contains high concentrations of sodium bicarbonate (substance similar to baking soda), which is believed to be a remedy for dermatitis, indigestion, bronchitis, high blood pressure, and many other ailments. Nearby attractions include Amethyst Cavern Park, Dokkaebi Road, Jakcheonjeong, Ganwol Natural Recreation Forest, and Seongnamsa Temple. ​

Kim Young Gap Gallery Dumoak

Baemikkumi Sculpture Park
Incheon(Ongjin-gun) , Incheon Center

Baemikkumi Sculpture Park rests on Modo Island, one of the nearest islets to Yeongjongdo Island where Incheon International Airport is located.The name 'baemikkumi' comes from the local dialect, as people say the island resembles the shape of a hole normally seen from the bottom of a ship as 'baemit' translates to the bilge, and 'kkumi' is most closely translated to mean 'a hole' in English.The entire island has now become a beautiful exhibition hall of art works thanks to sculptor Lee Il-ho, who originally started and donated his talents for visitors coming to the island. The art displayed on the island makes for an inspiring contrast to Seohae (west sea, or yellow sea) in the background.

Samcheok Ocean Rail BIke
Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Samcheok Ocean Rail Bike is Korea's one and only ocean rail bike facility that offers a landscape view of black pines and bizarre rocks merged together. Its double-tracked route of 5.4km follows the beautiful shoreline of the East Sea with a tunnel along its way that entertains bikers with fascinating luminarie and laser shows, giving feelings as if it is passing through a mysterious underwater tunnel. Aerospace Museum
Gyeongsangnam-do(Sacheon-si)

Sacheon’s Aerospace Museum (항공우주박물관) opened in August 2002. Outdoor exhibits include 13 kinds of aircraft used by the Korean Air Force since the Korean War, five retired aircrafts donated by the American Forces, and two armored vehicles and three cannons used by the land forces. The indoor collection includes over 1,000 items such as wartime photos, battle gear, artifacts from fallen soldiers, and other wartime memorabilia. The museum’s collection also includes the soviet-made ZIS-110 limousine that former North Korean leader Ilseong Kim used during the Korean War, 18 aircrafts such as T-6 (Geonguk), and F-86 fighter jets, and T-34 armored vehicles primarily used by the North Korean army during the war. In this museum, built as a symbol of Sacheon’s rise to the nation’s aerospace hub, visitors can learn more about the aerospace industry and aircrafts.

Kim Yujeong Station
Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Kim Yujeong Station is named after one of the prominent Korean writers of Kim Yujeong from the area. It was firs time using the person's name for the station and located between Gangchon and Namchuncheon Stations in Gyeongchun Line. The station commenced its operations in July 25, 1939, which was back then called Sinnam Station. The name of the station was changed into the current name in December 2004. As of December 21, 2010, the station was officially transferred to the new station after the new line of Gyeongchun Line of Seoul Metropolitan Subway started to operate. Near the station, Kim, Yujeong Literature Village and Sindong-myeon community office and post office are located.

Daegu Art Museum
Daegu(Suseong-gu)

Daegu Art Museum is a municipal museum supported by the Daegu Municipal Government. The museum holds exhibitions to promote Daegu's art advancement through the study of the art's historical value. The museum also has planned exhibitions introducing the social and artistic issues of the times and the leading trends in the art scene through domestic and overseas exchanges. Diverse performances and events such as academic programs and lectures with famous professors are offered to children, teens and citizens of all ages. Dasan Chodang
Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Dasan Chodang is the house where Jeong Yak-yong (pen-name Dasan, 1762-1836) lived during his exile. He was a scholar of the late Joseon Dynasty and is noted for his great contributions to the development of practical learning in Korea. After he was expelled to Ganjin for writing a secret letter of appeal for religious freedom, which later was named ‘the Hwang Sa-yeong Baekseo’, he lived in the house for 18 years while studying practical learning (‘Silhak’ in Korean). Most of his renowned books were written in Dasan Chodang. While walking along a road near Dasan Chodang, you can see the Cheonilgak pavilion, which offers a great view of beautiful Gangjin Bay. Not far from Dasan Chodang is the Dasan Museum, where visitors can learn about the life of Dasan.

Windy Hill
Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

On the way to Haegeumgang Village, one may encounter the fishing village of Dojangpo. On the left side of the village is Dojangpo Wharf, from where one can take a tour ferry to Oedo Island and Haegeumgang River. Looking up from here, one can see a hill covered in grass and overlooking the sea. This is Windy Hill. A growing number visitors come to the place after it was used a filming site for popular Korean dramas such as Eve's Garden (2003, SBS) and Merry- Go-Round (2004, MBC). The name “Windy Hill” was given by those who visited the island and became a fan. Walking toward the hill along the wooden promenade from the wharf, one can see Hakdong Village from a distance.
