Daegu Street Motor Festival was initially held in 2010 to promote Daegu's "car street" of Namsan-dong. However, the festival has since become more of a motor festival, comprised of various programs, not simply a small-scale motor show like before. It is a festival that offers free admission for various motor shows in Korea. Also, it offers a variety of experiential programs, managed by MRL and Morris to entertain visitors to the festival.

From Seoul Express Bus Terminal or Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, take an express bus bound for Seodaegu (East Daegu) Express Bus Terminal or Hanjin Express Bus Terminal (Dongdaegu), respectively.
From Seodaegu Express Bus Terminal, cross the street and take bus 704, then get off in front of Nammun Market Bus Stop (about 23 min).
Take a right after passing one rightside alley (130 m) and continue walking straight until a crosswalk appears ahead (215 m).
Cross the crosswalk and walk to the right to reach the street (80 m).

Take Daegu Subway Line 1 at Dongdaegu Station, then get off at Myeongdeok Station exit 4.
Walk straight, passing one leftside alley, then take a left at the next alley on the left.
Continue walking straight until you see the crosswalk, then cross the road, taking a right once crossed.
Then, you will see the festival venue, "Car Street" in Namsan-dong.

Daegu Street Motor Festival is held on Namsang-dong's "car street," which spans over 500 m, for two consecutive days. One of the exciting events is a drag race in which two cars race only about 50 m. If participant numbers are high, more high-end, fancy cars will be selected.
