A traditional tea ceremony experience will take place at Jagyeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung every Saturday and Sunday from mid May to mid October, 2014.

The ceremony includes a tea culture demonstration and experience, making honey cakes, traditional etiquette introduction, and lectures related to tea culture. To participate in the tea ceremony, download the application form from the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation website and submit the form through email.

Introduction

A traditional tea ceremony experience will take place at Jagyeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung every Saturday and Sunday from mid May to mid October, 2014.

The ceremony includes a tea culture demonstration and experience, making honey cakes, traditional etiquette introduction, and lectures related to tea culture. To participate in the tea ceremony, download the application form from the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation website and submit the form through email.

How to Particpate

- Schedule: May-July / September-October (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Eligiblity: Visitors from home and overseas on a first-come and first-served basis (up to 20 people for pre-registered & on-site participants up to 2 people of 8 teams (17 people in total))
- Program: Tea ceremony demostration and experience

- For regular programs, both Korean and foreigners can apply (up to 2 people max for each application)
  For speical progrmas, only foreign individual or group can apply (no Korean application accpeted)

* Participants can bring one companion. Participation is limited to one time only.
* Participation is free of charge; however an admission fee of 3,000 won must be paid to enter the palace.

* Gathering venue: Jagyeongjeon Hall
* Short pants, sleeveless shirts, short skirts are not allowed. Participants must wear socks.
