It’s a relatively new place very small but very yummy. On the warmer days this place is paradise to get a cone and lounge in the park. It’s a good walk by place for a cutesy and delicous ice cream. Recently probably since it’s winter they have been selling cake pops. I didn’t try one but my friend has they are on the small side but she said they were good. They dress these flavors up with cute and tasty cones as well as candies and other things.  

Pro Ganjang Gejang is a restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, serving soy sauce marinated crab (ganjang gejang). This restaurant opened in 1980 as the first ganjang gejang restaurant in Korea.Since its opening, it has grown in popularity not only among Koreans also among foreign visitors. In 2010, it opened a branch in Tokyo, Japan.

Also referred to as “Tto-tteok,” Ttobogetji Tteokbokki is a popular tteokbokki restaurant that has many branches in Hongdae. The exterior of the restaurant may seem rather humble, but Oriental Roast Chicken’s list of clientele is world class. The small eatery is filled with numerous autographs of K-stars including the two-time Olympic medallist Kim Yuna to Hallyu stars Ahn Sung-ki, Lee Jong-suk, Han Hyo-joo and Ahn Jae-wook. Roasted with glutinous rice, chestnuts and jujubes, the chhicken is juicy and tender, with distinctively nutty and sweet aromas. Take-outs are available as well.  

Located on the 33rd floor of Jongno Tower, this glass-walled restaurant provides a beautiful night view of Seoul, as well as tasty cuisine. Top Cloud offers three types of service: grill, buffet (for lunch and dinner), and cafe. Operated by Hotel Shilla, the grill provides elegant food, wine and service. Reservations are required for the grill and the buffet. Top Cloud also provides live musical performances from 7:30 pm to 11:20 pm (no performance on Mondays). TIP: Reserve a table by the window to enjoy the night view.  

Passion 5 is located near Hangangjin Station in Hannam-dong and is a premium dessert café & gallery launched by SPC Group. The Passion 5 bakery brings a whole new culture of after-dining providing customers with a diverse selection of delicious desserts including hand-made chocolates and puddings. Visitors can enjoy their treats in a gallery atmosphere. The name Passion 5 comes from the combining of five elements: the bakery, patisserie, chocolates and café. The 5th is the passion of those who create the desserts. The desserts are exquisitely designed and each element has its own unique atmosphere. In addition to the wonderful items from the bakery, there are usually 300 to 400 dessert items to choose from including cakes, puddings and chocolates.  

The owner of this fresh burger joint located in the Hongdae area is none other than Loco, one of the hottest rappers of the AOMG crew. The restaurant was indeed “famous” even before its opening, thanks to Loco’s Hallyu star status. Its signature dish is The Famous Burger featuring thick patties and a generous amount of melted cheese. Avocado slices and bacon can be added for an additional charge. Every Friday and Saturday, a DJ booth is set up at the counter for hip-hop and electronic music parties open to all.  

Studio J is a bar that was created by collaboration between JYP Entertainment and a famous bar in the Chungdam District called Y1975. The bar is setup with a live stage where you can enjoy many varieties of music and new sights; for instance, the LED lights, the stairway, and the grand interior are all designed to make you think of the red carpet. It is a place where the idol group, “Eunneessu,” who debuted through Slamdunk of Sisters, shot their music video for their song “Shut Up.” Also, surprise concerts by JYP entertainment artists such as G Soul, Pak A Yun, and Park Ji Min all happen in Studio J.  

Following recent renovations, the Myeong-dong branch of O’Sulloc Tea House now offers visitors an even more elegant and comfortable place to relax and immerse themselves in the wonderful world of tea. A true paradise for green tea lovers, the bar-like counter on the first floor allows visitors to talk face-to-face with tea sommeliers and get detailed information about the tea. The first floor even has a section where customers can pick their green tea and watch it get brewed. A large cauldron at the entrance is used to roast the fresh tea leaves.The second floor of the teahouse is a cultural space for visitors to experience green tea; the third floor offers a meeting room, presentation equipment, and an outdoor terrace. The teahouse also offers take-out services so customers can enjoy the flavors of Jeju green tea on the go.
