Seoul Kkakdugi specializes in traditional Korean cuisine such as galbi, which is marinated for about 48 hours, and meat stock comprised of various seasonings with beef lean meat. Also, an artificial waterfall gives a well-balanced ambience to the restaurant.

Hansol Raw Fish Restaurant

Different from other beaches, Mongdol Beach is covered with black, round rocks instead of the usual white sands, but the more popular beach of the area is Hakdong Mongdol Beach. Due to this unique characteristic, many beach-goers visit during the summer seasons. There are also many well-known restaurants in the area, one of those being the Hansol Raw Fish Restaurant. A stationery next to the restaurant comes to sight first, as the restaurant is small in size, located on the side of the street with a Sea Squirt Bibimbap specialty that is to die for. The restaurant's clean and cozy interior holds over 10 tables, designed to remind one of a beautifully picturesque countryside. One of their most popular dishes is the Haemul-doenjang-jjigae, a stew made with soybean paste and plentiful amounts of fresh seafood. Hansol also possesses an aquarium full of red snappers and flatfishes, which make up the ingredients for their delicious Hoe-deopbap.

Sanmaru (산마루)

Nojasan Mountain extends from Geojae-eup to Hakdong, and right at the base of the Nojasan Natural Forest, a delightful restaurant made of lumberwood stands happily serving all customers. The restaurant doesn't stand out too much from its natural forest surroundings, as it takes on the same natural look as its environment. The restaurant is furnished with pulpwood, while the roomy interior is only sectioned off by paper sliding doors. On one side, the restaurant has a live stage, bringing a contemporary feel to the dining experience as well. Sanmaru vowed to provide food for all of its wayfaring visitors with Western and Korean menus such as pork cutlets, hamburg steaks, patbingsu (shaved ice with red bean topping), and their specialty, the teungmi doenjang ttukbaegi (special soybean paste stew in a hot pot). Unlike the regularly sold doenjang jjigae, the teungmi doenjang ttukbaegi dish is an excellent blend of Jeju's obunjagi tang and doenjang jjigae. This specialty has a sweet, savory taste without any unpleasant aftertaste.

Omisa Kkulbbang

Omisa Kkulbbang is a famous bakery in Tongyeong, the owner of which was a baker in a well-known bakery. The owner opened the restaurant without any name in the early 1960s after quitting at his previous bakery. He started making donuts and kkulbbang (bread filled with honey) using flour received from an open market in front of his home. Residents in Tongyeong became attracted to the delicious taste and they began calling the bakery "Omisa," after the name of the laundry shop located next to the bakery.Kkulbbang stays fresh for periods, even warm temperatures.

Baekjeryeong Samgyetang (백제령삼계탕)

The restaurant has been specializing in samgyetang (steamed chicken with rice and ginseng stuffing) since 1982. It’s inside a traditional Korean house with a well-landscaped garden in a cozy atmosphere.

Youjung Jangeo

The main dish at Youjung Jangeo (유정장어, eel), located off Namgang River in the city of Jinju, is jangeo-gui (grilled marinated eel). Eels are caught fresh every day, and served with tasty side dishes. Moreover, the display of rare and precious jewelry, artifacts and stuffed animals inside add peculiarity to the restaurant. ​

Baek Man Seok

The Baek Man Seok Restaurant (Prisoner-of-war Camp Branch) is a restaurant, specialized in sea squirt bibimbap for 35 years of tradition. When ordered, the rice comes in a separate bowl where you can mix in frozen sea squirts, seaweed, sesame salt powder, and sesame oil. Simply put the rice into the bowl to mix. The bibimbap may be a little bitter at first due to the sea squirt, but it soon becomes sweet as the fragrance of the sea squirts begins to fill the mouth. It is located next to the parking lot of Geoje prisoner-of-war camp and near Geoje City Hall.
