A special tourism shuttle bus is in operation April 22 to May 28 in connection with the Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale 2017. The bus will depart from Insa-dong and stop by Hongik University before heading out of the city for major attractions in the Gyeonggi region, including Konjiam Hwadam Forest, Icheon Cerapia, Royal Tomb of King Sejong The Great in Yeoju, and Yeoju Dojasesang. Passengers can get off and on as they choose within one day for the great price of just 4,900 won per person.
Two buses will operate each day, departing from Insa-dong at 09:00 and 11:00 and returning from Yeoju Dojasesang at 14:00 and 16:00. Riders wishing to visit the Gyeongju International Ceramic Biennale can purchase a combination ticket at the discounted price of 5,000 won, saving 4,000 won off the original price of 9,000 won.
This Seoul-Gyeonggi Tourism Shuttle Bus is a temporary service available on a test run during the biennale period. Plans are in place for a full service operation from July.
