The name of the store is also short for ‘Coffeeae Ppajin Kongnamul,’ meaning ‘bean sprouts fall into coffee.’ ‘Bean sprouts’ is a figurative way of saying ‘music notes’ in Korean and alludes to the coffee shop’s piano where live music is played. The interior of the coffee shop is also accented with artwork and shelves of books to one side.
