Daegu Concert House, previously Daegu Citizen’s Hall, is newly opened after undergoing renovations from April 2011 to August 2013 to reconstruct eaves and columns of the large concert halls and to build a performance support hall perfect for international concerts. The hall is equipped with sound facilities matching international standards. Grand Hall has 1,284 seats, Chamber Hall (small concert hall) has 248 seats, and the parking lot can accommodate a total of 387 cars throughout 215 spaces in the basement level parking lot and 72 spaces in the parking tower. In addition, the concert hall houses an exhibition hall, practice room, and community facilities. In particular, the Grand Hall offers vivid, visible, and acoustic effect by shortening the distance between the performers and audience so that it fits the international standard for concert halls with the best sound facilities.

Though the restaurant offers a variety of traditional course meals, the best-selling course is Haewon Jeongsik. This special set meal typically starts with porridge for soothing the stomach and then moves on to more substantial dishes like Kimchi, mung bean jelly, vegetable dishes, pork, beef, jeon (Korean-style pancakes), Gujeolpan (a platter of nine delicacies), Tteokgalbi (grilled short rib meat patties), rice steamed in bamboo, and desserts. Private rooms are also available in various sizes for business meetings or special family gatherings.

Everland Environmental Academy

The tour program at Everland Environmental Academy is aimed at raising environmental awareness through firsthand experience of the waste water processing and purifying facilities at Everland. These facilities process an average of over 7,000 tons of waste water every day that come from the theme park and the neighboring Caribbean Bay. It takes 24 hours for the collected waste water to become clean again through microbial breakdown and filtering process. The purified water, which is reused for watering the flower garden at the theme park and also partly released into the river, is clean enough for carp to live in.Linked to the elementary school curriculum, the tour program is offered in basic and advanced courses, both of which are designed to experience the entire water purification process with the aim of learning the causes of water pollution and the importance of clean water.
