Various festivals like Ice Fountain Festival, International Calabash Festival, and Chilgapsan Mountain Bean Festival are also held in this village.Ice Fountain Festival is held in the area of the Alps Villages in Cheongyang-gun, Chungcheongnam-do from December to February with seven different themes. Every corner of the venue has ice fountains, and snow sculptures that add an even more winter ambience to the festival. Snow sledding, ice sledding and bobsleigh are available for all visitors to ride. Formed in the aftermath of the Korean War, Gukje Market has served countless customers over 60 years. Despite narrow pathway and old-looking shops, Section No.2 offers many items at incredibly inexpensive prices. Its first floor specializes in simple tableware, iron ware, and stone pots while the second floor boasts a variety of items from underwear to socks, clothing, and accessories.

Maetteok, the name of the restaurant, is short for Maeun Tteok-bokki (spicy stir-fried rice cake in English). This restaurant claims to be the first to start serving spicy stir-fried rice cake.


Gangwon-do(Jeongseon-gun)

Named to reflect the concept “first and foremost,” High1 is a multi-cultural leisure resort consisting of High1 Resort, Gangwon Land Convention Hotel, Gangwon Land Casino, Gangwon Land Hotel, High1 Ski, High1 C.C, High1 Hotel, Valley Condominium, and Mountain Condominium. The ski resort, one of the most popular parts of the High1 complex, offers a 4.2-kilometer-long slope for beginners that runs from the summit of Mount Jijangsan (alt. 1,345m). Gyeongsangbuk-do(Mungyeong-si)

Mungyeongsaejae Open Set was created in 2000 for the filming of KBS drama "Taejo Wang Geon." The set became famous and was used for a variety of historical publications. In 2008, the Goryeo Dynasty set was dismantled and redesigned into a Joseon-era set. Visitors can get a glimpse of life in the past through the replica houses and various structures throughout the open set.


Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Ganghwa History Museum opened in 2010, and is located inside Ganghwa Dolmen Park, which was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Historic Site No. 137.The museum aims to exhibit, preserve and educate about the history and culture of Ganghwa from prehistoric ages to modern times based on artifacts from the area.


Seoul(Mapo-gu) , Hongik-University-Area

Yoonssi Milbang first opened thanks to the owner's passion for food made of flour. It originally specialized in dumplings, but became well known for its hamburger steak.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Opened on October 30, 2002, the Chuncheon National Museum is a storehouse of the cultural heritage of Gangwon-do Province. It preserves and exhibits the archaeological and artistic treasures of the region, which range in date from the prehistoric era to modern times, and serves as a vital center for academic research and education. In 2003, the museum building was selected as the “Best Architecture of the Year.” The building is a beautiful cultural space with an elegant and modern exterior that is in perfect harmony with the surrounding mountain setting. The museum also features an auditorium with 230 seats, an outdoor performance stage, a seminar room with simultaneous interpretation facilities, rooms for hands-on programs, and a library.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Jungmun Resort

Located within Jungmun Resort, Yeomiji Botanical Garden (여미지식물원) is the best botanical garden in Asia with a unique southern atmosphere. The indoor garden contains approximately 2,000 rare tropical and subtropical plants throughout the Flower Garden, Water Lily Garden, Jungle Garden, Subtropical Fruits Garden, Cactus and Succulent Garden, and Observation Platform. The outdoor garden offers Jeju Native Garden, as well as Korean, Japanese, Italian and French folk gardens. The tour train accommodating 60 persons travels between Indoor and Outdoor Garden. The Jungmun Tourist Complex, Cheonjeyeon Falls, as well as a clear view of Mt. Hallasan, and the nearby coast and Marado Island can all be observed from the thirty-eight meter high observation platform.
