While there, I enjoyedCulture is Here!, a cultural event held by the Korea Tourism Organization ^^         Culture is Herewas held at Gimhae International Airport as a culture port event, aiming to provide enjoyment to airport users and local residents. It included an experiential event and a good performance. Most people arrive at the airport earlier than the departure time and wait. This cultural event is held to provide fun and enjoyment so that people who are waiting don’t get bored. It was a great experience for me.       The Return of the Heavenly Sword performance that was held at Gimhae International Airport is based on the motif, Cloud-Splitting Sword, which was used to guard the king during the Joseon Era. The Cloud-Splitting Sword was reborn as the Heavenly Sword, used to ensure safety at the airport. This leading performance of the Korea Tourism Organization is a martial arts performance.          The Return of the Heavenly Sword performance begins with a court dance.     Military officers from across the nation fight in front of the king. The best military officer is presented with the Heavenly Sword, which is used to promote safety in the skies and to protect passengers.      The brilliant martial arts performance by the military officers was interesting to watch. Above all, I believe this was a good performance because its uniquely Korean aspects enhanced understanding of Korea among Koreans as well as foreign visitors at Gimhae International Airport.         The long-anticipated martial arts fight began!             The military officers fought, aiming to be chosen as the best. The performance looked real as if it were an action movie!     The Heavenly Sword is presented to the best military officer who won the fight!    Another reason why this performance was good is that it reflected Gimhae International Airport’s determination to ensure safe flights by promoting safety in the skies and protecting passengers.         airport were more than happy to take pictures with the performance team of the Return of the Heavenly Sword, which is the Korea Airports Corporation’s leading performance. They looked like they were very much enjoying their experience of capturing memories even before their journeybegan ^^       An experiential event was held nearby that invited visitors to try on Joseon Dynasty clothing and accessories. Visitors wore traditional Korean clothing and took pictures with the performance team. The cultural program certainly included diverse elements.      Some visitors were so excited about taking pictures with the performance team that they left their baggage unattended!!     Culture is Here, a cultural event held by the Korea Airports Corporation, takes place at 12 airports across thenation, including Gimhae International Airport. The event provides enjoyment and special memories to airport users! We can now enjoy cultural experiences at airports and be free of boredom while waiting for departure~     After the Return of the Heavenly Sword, a leading performance of the Korea Airports Corporation, the performance team went to the first floor and welcomed people who arrived at the airport.     People enjoyed the event as they arrived :-)  They must have felt like they were given a warm reception.     A foreign visitor who just arrived took pictures of the performance team, and also with the team.     This unique cultural event provides airport users with a fun, enjoyable experience. It is extremely good in that it prevents airport users from becoming bored while waiting for departure and increases their understanding of Korean culture. I believe many people will go to airports as their first stop to their vacation’s destination. Daehan Dawon Tourist Plantation is an area located in Boseong, and its main specialty is green tea which originated from the mountain valleys south of Boseong. Boseong has been a tea plantation area since the days of the Japanese occupation, and with its long history comes large plantations, their traditions, and highly skilled workers. The most famous of these is the Daehan Dawon Plantation. The site has gained popularity as a film making destination after a huge success of the commercial for a telecommunication company. It also host ‘Dahyangje Tea Festvial’ each year in May.The road leading to Daehan Dawon Plantation is very beautiful, full of green tea fields and cedar trees, which has been  There are several country roads in Korea known for their beauty, and one of them is the Boseong Cedar Road. Trees 20 meters in x_height are planted and lined evenly along both sides of the road. About 300 meters down the road you can see a market selling local products. If you go further along the road past the market, you come to a small pond on the right. Go around the pond, and you will come to the administrative office building, coffee shops and restaurants. Pass these buildings and you will finally arrive at the Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation. Go passed the buildings and on the left side you will see the cedar road again. On the other side of the road, in the middle of the tea field, there are stairs where you can climb to a big tree at the top of a hill. You can see the whole tea plantation from here.

Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. Outside Imjingak, there are 12 unique tanks and warcrafts on display that were used during the war.  Mangbaedan Alter, which stands opposite Imjingak, is famous as the place where Korean's separated from their families in the North visit to perform ancestral rites by bowing toward their hometowns every New Year's Day and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). The scale is similar to the 2nd Tunnel, but it was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels. The Busan Museum, offers seven regular exhibition rooms spread over three floors in addition to the Kiln Exhibition Hall, and the Outdoor Exhibition Hall. Opened in 1978, the museum has taken on a leading role in preserving traditional culture in Busan by obtaining a wealth of relics from strong excavation efforts, generous donations and purchases, and by meticulous research.The museum was remodeled in 2002 along with the opening of Exhibition Hall 2. The wide array of relics ranges from the Prehistoric Age to the modern period. The Outdoor Exhibition Hall is home to precious pagodas, Buddhist statues, and monuments. There are over 6,000 items from excavations in Busan and the Gyeongnam area in addition to items that have been purchased, donated, and collected. Those relics reveal the important historical and cultural heritage of Busan. 

Kidzania, located in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, is a unique family entertainment space especially for children age 3 to 16. The theme park provides children with a chance to experience jobs that they might want to have when they grow up! The park, which originated in Mexico and has spread throughout the world, opened its doors in Korea in February of 2010.Kidzania has a total of three floors and lets children experience over 57 different jobs. By experiencing a variety of realistic role playing jobs (all of which are included in the entrance fee) children can learn about real-life economic principles in a unique and interesting environment. Job experiences include working as a policeman, flight attendant, firefighter, or chef (uniforms are provided). When you work hard in Kidzania, you get paid in Kidzo (a virtual currency). You can put your money in the bank for your next visit or purchase goods at the department store.Kidzania mimics a real city environment, has diverse jobs, and is full of events. When there is a fire, a fireman rushes to help, and a news reporter covers the story. While 911 paramedics give first aid to fire victims, in another part of “town” delivery personnel are dropping off packages. Kidzania teaches the next generation how to live as responsible members of society and gives them an introduction to how the economy works.In order to make the environment as realistic as possible, every building, car, and tree is reduced to 2/3 its real size, helping children feel more adult-like in their new world!

Visitors to Lotte World Aquarium can learn about the marine life from both rivers and oceans, while exploring the various themed areas

Incheon Station is the last station on the Gyeongin Rail-line in Bukseong-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The station is located near Incheon Port.

Myeong-dong Cathedral is the Church for Archdiocese of Seoul and was also the birthplace for the Roman Catholic Church community in Korea. The church houses the remains of several individuals: Bishop Laurent Joseph Marie Imbert (1796-1839), and priests Peter Simon (1803-1839), James (Jacques Honor Chastan, 1803-1839) and Pourthie Jean Antoine Charles (1830-1866) and four martyrs. Myeong-dong Cathedral is located in downtown Seoul and tourists frequently come and visit the place. Near the cathedral are other tourism spots such as Namsangol Hanok Village preserving Korean traditional houses, N Seoul Tower overlooking Seoul and Namdaemun Market, a traditional market with a wide variety of food and goods.

The signature markings of the Presidential Residence of Cheong Wa Dae are its blue tiles. It is the first thing that catches one's attention upon entering the premises. The blue tiles and the smooth roof blend beautifully with Mt. Bugaksan in the backdrop. The unique buildings of Cheong Wa Dae are comprised of the Main Office, Yeongbingwan (Guest House), Chunchugwan (Spring and Autumn Pavilion), Nokjiwon (Green grass), the Mugunghwa (Rose of Sharon) Valley, and the Seven Palaces. It is interesting to see that these buildings all have distinctive shapes. They are unique and beautifully designed, built in the Korean traditional style. The blue tiles and the smooth curve shape of the main office roofs are elegantly built. Approximately 150 thousand tiles compose the roof of the Blue House. Each were baked individually which make them strong enough to be used for hundreds of years. If you turn to the right you will see Chunchugwan. The roof of Chunchugwan was made of earthen tiles. This is where the president's press conferences are held. On the left side of the main office, there is the Yeongbingwan. It was designed to hold large conferences and official events for foreign guests. You can walk along Nokjiwon and the Mugunghwa Valley. At Nokjiwon a succession of presidents planted trees on memorial occasions. There is one famous tree which is 310 years old. The Mugunghwa Valley has colorful flowers, a fountain, and a phoenix statue, which makes it perfect for taking pictures. It is best to visit here between July and October when the Mugunghwa flowers bloom. A walk around the paths just outside the Blue House grounds is a pleasure as the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. The paths follow Gyeongbokgung Palace to the Blue House and to Samcheong-dong Park. The walk from the East Gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace to the Blue House is the most beautiful part. With the road in the middle, there is the Gyeongbokgung Palace stone wall on the left and galleries and old buildings on the right. The stone wall of Gyeongbokgung Palace is scattered with beautiful old trees that will comfort you. Across the street are Hyundai Gallery, Geumho Gallery and other famous galleries and stylish cafes. Of the many nice cafes and restaurants, there is "The Restaurant." Its interior is modern and one side of the building is a glass wall where you can enjoy viewing the scenery and the stonewall alley while dining. After you pass this area, and before you reach the Blue House, turn to the right and you will reach Samcheong-dong Park. There are also many famous restaurants and galleries in the area.
