Yearimdang Art Hall

Yearimdang Art Hall (formerly Ungjin Think Big Art Hall), is a children’s theater that was renovated and officially reopened on June 3, 2011.A joint project of Yearimdang publishing company and PMC Production, the art hall is a mid-sized theater with around 440 seats located on the two floors. The first floor consists of VIP sets and S-class seats that allow for more interaction with the actors on stage and access to surprise events during the performances. Seats on the second floor (A-class) offer an affordable, bird’s-eye view of the stage.

Yongdusan Park
Busan(Jung-gu) , Nampo-dong(Jagalchi Market)

Yongdusan Park, one of the most popular mountains in Busan Yongdusan in downtown Busan, is one of the 3 well-known mountains in Busan. Its old name is Songhyunsan, which means a mountain has a view of the sea through the dense fine tree forest. Later the name has changed into Yongdusan. It came from its shape, which is similar to dragon head and people thought it has a spirit to defeat enemies coming over the sea. On the mountain were shrine built by Japanese people during Japanese colonial role, but now are Cheokhwabi monument (the stone monument to the exclusion of foreigners from the country), Chunghontap (memorial tower for Korean war victims), 4.19 Revolution monument (the student's anti-government revolt), the statue of General Lee Sunsin(the great commander in Joseon Dynasty period(1392-1910)) and Busan tower. During Korea war, displaced people built houses on it even on the top, but 2 times of big fires took all them away making it bald mountain. Since then, fierce efforts to plant trees have created such beautiful park. The name of the park was once Unam park in the time of the Liberal Party’s ruling but it went back to Yungdosan park after April revolution (1960). It is a place with beautiful scenery. Especially the night landscape from Busan tower is magnificent. Seoul Animation Center

The Seoul Animation Center (management: Seoul Business Agency) was established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in May 1999 with the aim of providing comprehensive support to Korea’s cartoon and animation industry. The center runs an information desk, offers educational programs, holds events to support new talents and productions, and hosts diverse events and exhibitions (animation film festival, etc.).A major facility of the Seoul Animation Center, AniCinema is a multicultural space that can accommodate diverse cultural events. Its primary objective is to facilitate the supply of domestic animation films to theaters and to promote animated works by holding a range of film festivals. The theater has 179 seats and state-of-the-art facilities for screening both digital and analogue animated films. High quality equipment at AniCinema, such as the 5.1 channel digital surround sound system and wide screen, allows for a pleasurable viewing experience.

Yangpyeong Rail Bike

Using a long abandoned railway, the Yangpyeong Rail Bike offers a unique bike ride at speeds of 15km/h from Yongmun to Wondeok. Ssamzigil (쌈지길)

Yongin MBC Daejanggeum Park

The Daejanggeum Park was co-created by Munhwa Broadcasting Company (MBC) and Yongin Municipal Office in August 2005. Located in Yongcheong-ri, Baekam-myeon, Yongin-si, this is an open set that measures a total of 29,421m² (8,900 pyeong).Different from other drama sets, Daejanggeum Park has been re-created based on historical records and very accurately reflects the structures and culture of ancient times. Dramia has served as the filming location for hugely popular Korean historical dramas such as “Jumong," “Queen Seon-deok,” “Isan,” and “Dong Yi” and many more of historical documents and films.

Jamwon Hangang Park

Jamwon Hangang Park is located on the southern side of the river stretching from Yeongdong Bridge to Dongho, Hannam and Banpo Bridge. Kidzania (Children’s Job Experience Theme Park)

Kidzania, located in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, is a unique family entertainment space especially for children age 3 to 16. The theme park provides children with a chance to experience jobs that they might want to have when they grow up! The park, which originated in Mexico and has spread throughout the world, opened its doors in Korea in February of 2010.Kidzania has a total of three floors and lets children experience over 57 different jobs. By experiencing a variety of realistic role playing jobs (all of which are included in the entrance fee) children can learn about real-life economic principles in a unique and interesting environment. Job experiences include working as a policeman, flight attendant, firefighter, or chef (uniforms are provided). When you work hard in Kidzania, you get paid in Kidzo (a virtual currency). You can put your money in the bank for your next visit or purchase goods at the department store.Kidzania mimics a real city environment, has diverse jobs, and is full of events. When there is a fire, a fireman rushes to help, and a news reporter covers the story. While 911 paramedics give first aid to fire victims, in another part of “town” delivery personnel are dropping off packages. Kidzania teaches the next generation how to live as responsible members of society and gives them an introduction to how the economy works.In order to make the environment as realistic as possible, every building, car, and tree is reduced to 2/3 its real size, helping children feel more adult-like in their new world!
