Laila Cafe

Laila Cafe, operated by a Moroccan woman and her husband, serves authentic Moroccan and French teas. The cafe features the best equipment for serving these teas true to their origins. The cafe was invited to operate a Moroccan Tea booth at the 2017 Hadong International Tea Festival, as well as at the 2017 BEXCO Tea Culture Special Hall. In addition to teas, Laila Cafe also serves traditional desserts and dishes from Morocco and France, using flour and chocolate from France and other European countries.

Manna Bunsik

Manna Bunsik is a snack shop that's been around since 1974. Having sold tteok-bokki for over 47 year on the same street, it's an old time favorite among the residents. There are many regulars who go there and the grandmother who runs the place is always happy to see new people.

Located in Tongin Market, Sonmat Gimbap first opened its store back in 1980. Gimbap has become one of the main specialties to try out in Tongin Market. This particular store is extremely well known amongst Japanese tourists and attracts over 1,000 customers every day.

Naeja Peanuts has been around since 1974. It's famous for its senbei (Bukkumi) which is a type of Japanese rice cracker. This store prides itself on not using any preservatives or additives in its sweets, drawing many customers back for its healthy and nostalgic taste.

Nodeulgang is famous for croaker, a type of fish eaten (particularly in summer) for its energizing properties. The croaker is cured, giving the fish a nice firmness. After the croaker sashimi, a soup is served, made with the same fish. In addition to the croaker, their hongeo samhap (a combination of three ingredients: aged skate, boiled pork, and fermented kimchi) also tastes great.
